jack and i are leaving for the bahamas in an hour, we're driving straight to the airport. our car is packed with everything, all we have to do is say goodbye and leave. i walked over to where jack was saying goodbye to our families. i had changed into comfier clothes and was running around with isla and reece. my arms were linked with theirs as we said our final goodbyes, to my parents and jack's.
once we said our goodbyes, i held jack's hand and we walked out to the car. we waved to our families and friends as we drove away from the venue. i rested my hand on his on the gear stick and he smiled over to me. we got to the airport and finally got on the plane, heading to the bahamas.
-skip plane ride-
once we landed, the heat felt comforting. i tied back my hair into a loose ponytail and slung my bag over my shoulder, picking up one of our suitcases and following jack through the airport and out to the street. we got into our rental car and drove to the villa, which was somewhere that jack hadn't told me. we drove for a few minutes before coming to a property right by the beach.

i was shocked when jack pulled in, looking at him with my mouth open as he laughed at my reaction. we parked and i got out, smiling constantly, jack and i grabbed out the suitcases. i was about to walk inside when jack lifted me up, carrying me in his arms and walking through the doors. i giggled as jack threw me onto the couch and turned around to get the bags.
i got up and took my shoes off, looking around at everything. i walked straight past the doors but walked backwards when i noticed the gorgeous beach walking distance. i walked out of the doors and around the pool, down the steps and onto the sand. i admired as the waves crashed against the sand, playing the sound i missed. i looked up to the stars and laid down on the sand, never taking my eyes off the sky.
i noticed jack come out and lay next to me, i smiled at him and he smiled back. i lent my head on his chest and felt it rise and fall with every breath he took. i felt my eyes drift, like the waves in the distance. drifting, drifting, drifted.
i woke up among the sheets of a king size bed, i remembered what happened last night, between jack and i. i noticed he was still asleep next to me and i quickly ran into the bathroom, turning on the shower and getting inside. i washed my hair and washed all of last night off my body, i got out, wrapping my body in a towel and getting clothes. i changed into a bikini and an oversized t-shirt and went to the kitchen. on the bench was a plate of fruit with a note on the side addressed to jack and i.
'to the newlyweds, congratulations'
i smiled and took a strawberry off of the plate, throwing it into my mouth and looking through the fridge for something to drink. juice caught my eye so i poured a glass for jack and i and took it into the bedroom. i grabbed jack's sweatpants and threw them on him, causing him to wake up, he looked around the room and stretched. i smiled at him and handed him the juice, he took a sip and placed the glass on the side table. he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close, kissing me slowly.
