Sal's POV
There was a moment of silence. No words. I could feel the sweat running down my face. My heart racing. This was more nerve racking than actually asking her. He stared up into my eyes. Then he hugged me.
"Of course!!! When are you proposing?" He asked me.
"I was thinking tonight but I'm not sure?" I said to him.
"Well whenever you do she'll say yes!!" Her dad reassured me. I took a big sigh of relief as he walked away. I reached into my pocket and admire the ring. I kept it with me for a while to make sure I wouldn't loose it.
Emily's POV
My dad walked back into the living room with a huge smile. I had no idea why but I just ignored it. Q and Joe looked at each other and smiled and Murr looked as clueless as me. Shortly after, Sal came back into the room, wiping away the sweat on his forehead. He came and sat next to me on the floor wrapping his arm around me and held my other hand. He gave me a kiss on my cheek.
"What's that for?" I asked him with a smile.
"I just love you!" He replied.
