Natsu's P.O.V

I tackled Snake to the ground digging my nails into his arms. Snake's fangs came out as he tried to push me back off. I screamed at the top of my lungs as I began punching Snake. I was babbling what I was meant to be screamed, but no one could understand me. I just looked like a crazy mess. I was on top of Snake punching him with tears in my eyes.

Birdie was trying to grab me from behind but she couldn't calm me down. Her attempts at restraining me wasn't working. It's not surprising, but that's how it went. Mouse shook in fear watching as Birdie tried to seperate us.

It was a short fight, but it was still one. Snake grabbed my fist in his hand before biting my wrist. I screamed even louder and I continued to assault him. It didn't last that long though. The poison that Snake injected into me quickly spread through my veins.

My vision unfocused making it so I couldn't see. My heart pounded and sweat dripped off my face. Instead of screaming, my attempts at making sentences was nothing more then mumbles. The bite mark on my wrist pulsed as my muscles relaxed. My whole body felt so heavy. Birdie yelled at Mouse to come over. She reluctantly listened. As Birdie yanked Snake out from underneath of me Mouse spoke to me.

"D-Dragon. Please calm d-down." Mouse said to me. As she tried to get me to stop I swayed from side to side. Her blurry figure shifted and molded into someone that I wish that I could see one again. Kitten.

She stood there staring at me with her orange hair and pale skin. Cat ears stuck out of her hair that was cut into a bob around her face. Deep brown eyes stared at me softly like she had done once before. "Dragon. Please stop. I love you, no one else."  She said the statement that I very much remember. The one that I fought with her about right before her death.

"Kitten. . . . I'm sorry." was the last thing I said before I fell forward. It took a little bit before I actually blacked out. My eyes focused and unfocused as my body tried to fight against the poison. My muscles spasmed as the pulse in my wrist grew heavier. I could see Snake shake his head at me holding Birdie in a hug. Tears flew down Mouse's face, but in my eyes it was still Kitten.

Next thing I know. I see a small flash of what was the Kitten I remember. The one that had cold lifeless eyes and blood streaming down her body staining her clothes. A chunk of skin bitten out of the side of her thin neck next to a bruise shaped like a handprint. Her head fell to the side as she took her last breaths. Her heart stopped, and I wished it was mine.

Mouse's P.O.V

Snake was fine-ish. He wasn't that badly hurt, but he knew that we still had to keep going. My guess is that he was still worried about the flying cat from before. Dragon was on his side staring off into space. His mumbling stopped, but I doubt he would be walking anytime soon.

"It's just a simple poison. He might have a little fever, but no lasting damage." Snake said aloud. I think he told me that just to calm me down, but it didn't work like he wanted it. I don't feel bad for Snake because he got attacked. It was his fault for bringing Kitten into this. He knows that Dragon is still dealing with what happened.

"He's still dangerous, and here I thought that he had calmed down." Birdie mumbled trying to clean out Snake's wounds. It was obvious that he would have some damage, but not that much. I doubt he even cares at this point. After all, we were all part of the Demon Hawk Slaves.

"Regardless, He will still fight me on it when he wakes back up, so I think it would be best to just get into Demon Hawk and show him that there is nothing in there." Snake said pushing up to his feet. What he said would be easier I suppose, but I believe Dragon. If he says something's up there then something's up there.

"I d-don't know. Dragon has a really good s-sense of smell." I said. Snake and Birdie both stared at me like it was a surprise that I gave my view on the situation. I shook my head and looked back down to Dragon as his hand flexed and relaxed due to the bite.

"Don't tell me your on his side." Birdie said pointing to Dragon on the ground. My eyes softened a little and then I shrugged. I didn't really go to give my view on anything until I forced myself to speak. I wasn't going to stay quiet on this one.

"Don't tell me your j-just going to deny something that h-he was just trying to warn us a-about. Obviously h-he cares for us." I still had my stutter, but I always talk like that. I was trying to sound more confident, but I failed. I still sounded weak compared to them.

"You say that after he beats up Snake." Birdie said looked over to the side.

"Because S-Snake brought Kitten i-into this. You can't do that w-with him." I pointed out. Tears were in my eyes now. I felt the same as what Dragon felt when he spoke of her like that. Do I blame Dragon? No, it wasn't his fault. Do I still care about the fact that she is gone? Yes. She was my best friend after all.

"He needs to get over himself. Kitten is gone and there is nothing that he can do about it." Birdie growled. I knew that they never got along, so I wouldn't expect her to make the connection on how we actually felt about her. Kitten was a kind person who never made enemies with anyone, she didn't deserve to die.

"T-Think if you were in h-his shoes. You don't even remember k-killing her and next thing y-you know she's dead and your mouth is full of her b-blood." Birdie kind of shivered at this statement. Probably thinking about how gross that sounds.

"Fine. I get it. I shouldn't have gone that far, but we still need to go. Are you with us?" Snake said trying to change the subject off of Kitten. Doesn't surprise me. He just wants to get to Demon Hawk and set up our forces before something happens. Like Fairy Tail showing up. Something tells me that we will be seeing them quite soon.

"I'm with you." I didn't want to be alone. So I agreed to go along with him. Besides, I would have to leave Dragon with them. I don't think that would be a very good idea. After all, Dragon and Snake seems to be on not so great of terms right now.
