Lucy's P.O.V

I sat there crying for a while. I had yelled at Natsu. How could I be so stupid? I know how sensitive he is to people being mad at him after Demon Hawk messed him up. So why would I let myself yell? I was so scared that something happened to him. That he would run off or something. Why would he run off? Where would he go?

At this point I really don't know what to do. Natsu is losing his trust in me. If anything he hates me now. How am I supposed to find where he went. Besides, would he even want to see me. He seemed pretty upset when I yelled at him. Not that I blame him or anything.

"Lucy! Get down here!" I heard someone yell from outside. I pushed myself up off the floor and traveled to the window in hopes of seeing Natsu. I was wrong. On the street was most of the Fairy Tail guild in front of my house. Happy had tears in his eyes as he flew up to the window.

"Lucy! Lucy! Lucy!" Happy screamed.

"What do you want Happy?" I asked making sure that I don't have any tears left in my eyes. I know Happy's seen me cry before, but that's not the point. The point is that letting him know that I'm crying with him wouldn't sit right with me.

"Natsu is leaving Mongolia! He's going back to Demon Hawk!" Happy screamed.

"What! Why!" I yelled.

"He's traveling with this guy and two girl's! He's leaving for good!" Happy cried. I widened my eyes and ran downstairs to the door. I didn't even bother locking it for the rush that I was in. I ram through the Fairy Tail people and headed back to the train. Then I stopped when Erza grabbed my arm.

"Lucy. I know that you want to get Natsu back, but you must calm yourself. Do you even know where the Demon Hawk guild is?" Erza told me. I looked down tears pricking my eyes. No. I don't know where is it. I know I'm being stupid.

"No. But I'm sure -" I started but was quickly interrupted.

"I'm sure that you would get lost. We can't send the whole guild after one person. I know that we all want to find him, but we need to think of more than just one person." Erza said with a sad look in her eyes. I'm not sure if she even agrees with her own statement.

"I very much agree." Makarov said walking up into the situation. He looked at both of us and then shook his head. "Wendy, Gray, Erza, Lucy, and Mira will all go after Natsu. The rest of us will go back to the guild and set up any preparations for hostages or Natsu when they get back. Erza. You are leading this. That is all. Dismissed."

Everyone else started to head back to the guild as the rest of us stayed behind. I stood there taking a deep breath before turning my body and looking at the rest of them. Happy landed on the ground and wiped his tears.

"Okay Happy. I need to know what we are up against. Tell us what happened." Erza said. Mira nodded and Happy wiped his tears away again before starting at the begining of the story. Thankfully, he left out our fight.

"Well. . . . Natsu was talking with someone that he called Snake."

Natsu's P.O.V

We were nearing Demon Hawk. It surprised me just how close it actually was to the Fairy Tail guild. Yes, we had to travel by train, but not that long of a ride. Snake had been silence the whole time and Mouse and Birdie just had some simple conversation. I looked up to the roof of the guild beyond the trees and then stopped. Something wasn't right.

"W-What's the m-matter Dragon?" Mouse asked seeing my resistance. I looked to her and then back up to the guild. Something in there was setting me off. I'm not sure what it is or why I'm feeling it right now, but something's wrong. There is knew scents in there that I've never smelled before. I sniffed the air again trying to search my memory again.

"Something doesn't smell right." I announced sniffing the air once again. Snake looked back to me and then narrowed his eyes thinking something over. "Something is in that guild that wasn't there before. It's subtle, but something is in there."

"There's probably just rodents or something. Are the smells clashing?" Snake asked turning around to face me. I shook my head. I've smelled all kind of rodents before. This is bigger than a rodent. Yes, the smells are clashing with the stench of blood, but that doesn't mean that it's rodents.

"Yeah, but it doesn't smell like any kind of rodent." I said aloud. Mouse seemed to shake in fear. Birdie grabbed her hand and held it near to her so that Mouse doesn't think that she needs to run away in fear.

"Who knows. I'm sure we can take them on." Snake announced taking another step forward. I stepped forward with him and grabbed his forearm pulling him back a little. You could obviously see him hiss from my touch, so I let go.

"It's dangerous to approach something without a plan." Birdie said looking from us too. Watching as we both death glared each other. Snake has been acting weird ever since we met up after the roof. To be honest, maybe he was acting weird when I met him the first time. After all I doubt I would notice it.

"Maybe Dragon just messed up. Are we really going to trust the nose of someone as broken as him." His statement started me for a minute. Broken as him. As in how much different I am now because of the torture I've been through. I wasn't happy at this point. Not one little bit. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"You don't trust me? You don't think that I would know the difference between something new and old." I said to him. He gave out an irritated hiss and then looked back deep into my eyes before continuing on.

"I'm saying that your mind is scrambled more then any of ours is. You both know that perfectly well. Besides, we don't even know if it's something to even cause for alarm. What if it's more of our friends coming back too?" His theory was possible, but how the smells are now I don't really trust the theory.

"I would have remembered their smells. This is something, or someone, new. They have never been into the Demon Hawk guild before." I growled and then Snake hissed again. You could see that he wasn't going to back down, but neither was I.

"I'm done arguing with you Dragon. We are going up there regardless of what you smell. After all, your sense of smell is what caused Kitten to die." My eyes widened at his statement. After that, I was blinded by anger. I tackled Snake to the ground. A fight was underway.
