Natsu's P.O.V
I was following the scent. Trying to find that one little thing that was setting me off this whole time. I just couldn't find where it was. Whatever it was, it traveled up and down this place. All of the scents was clashing with the blood in here.
"D-Dragon!" Someone screamed. I looked down the hall to see Mouse. She was wobbling down the hall trying to breathe. My eyes widened and I ran up to her wrapping my arms around her small form. She was heaving, yet she was trying to run at the same time.
"Hey. What's the matter Mouse?" I asked trying to keep her next to me. She didn't need to be running when she's like this. She shook her head quickly and tried to run past me, but I didn't let her move on. I looked down seeing a bite mark identical to the one on my wrist. Snake. "What the hell did he do to you!?" I screamed.
"D-Dragon. We need to r-run. Snake's gone c-crazy." I looked down the hall further to see Snake round the corner. He narrowed his eyes at us before he gave me a frown. Then he sighed and kept walking up to us. I held onto mouse as she burried her face into my chest.
"Snake. What's going on?" I asked.
"The two of you are in need of punishment. Neither of you have followed the rules of Demon Hawk, so now you must pay." I didn't know what he was talking about before he wrapped his hands around my forearm and punctured me with yet another bite mark.
Mouse screamed as I let go of her and fell back to the ground. The bite mark pulsed just like the last one that I got. I looked up to Snake who looked down to me and Mouse like we were his prey. I slammed a fist into his midsection before jumping up and grabbing Mouse.
We both ran as fast as we could, but we were both bitten. Neither of us could barely walk in a straight line after the bite. So we just had to get as much land as we could between us. Snake was following us in a simple walk making sure to let us know that he is the top of the food chain here. We went to the front doors of the guild falling onto the handles and they fell open.
On the other side of the door's wasn't the land or anything either. There was the Fairy Tail wizards. Wendy, Gray, Erza, Lucy, and Mira all stared at us in shock as we pushed ourselves back up onto our hands before trying to run off again. Mouse and I hobbled away trying to get as far as we could from Snake.
"Ice make: cage!" the raven haired male, Gray, yelled as a large ice cage sorrounded Mouse and I. I grabbed a hold of the bars and tried to find a spot where they were weakest. Then something hit me. This cage had no door. This cage was locked with us on the inside. Mouse seemed to have the same idea as she slid to the floor holding her legs and rocking. I followed suit sliding down to the ground. I was going to be beaten. Everything would just happen all over again.
"Natsu. What happened?" Erza asked walking up next to the bars.
"Oh. . . Fairy Tail. I forgot about them." Snake said walking out of the door and eyeing us on the inside of the cage. He gave out a small chuckle. "Why didn't I think of that. Locking them away and forcing them to submit again. That would have been easier then all of this trouble. Even if the chase was fun."
"What's going on here?" Erza asked. Snake shook his head and walked up to the bars tapping on the cold ice. Then he looked over to Erza. To an outsider, he looks like he's happy about something, but I could tell that he was judging her. He was seeing just how strong she really is.
"I'm Snake. Another Demon Hawk Slave just like Dragon." Snake said bowing his head to Erza. Erza did not bow back and just looked to Mouse and I. Both of our visions was becoming blurry and the pulse in the bite was intensifying.
"Who's she?" Wendy asked trying to touch us through the bars. I grabbed Mouse and held her closer to me. There was no wall. There was no place that could hide us. This cage made it so they can touch us all the way around. I don't like that.
"That's Mouse. She's just another slave that didn't follow the rules. So they are both going to pay for their crimes of rebellion." Snake said it like it was a simple answer. It wasn't. They all stared at him like he was some kind of crazed maniac.
"You poisoned them." Wendy said eyeing the wounds on our shoulders. She didn't even have to touch us to know that outcome. It was obvious that she was diverse in the healing world, but yet she is so young.
"This is just stage one my dear." Snake hissed at her before showing off his poisoned filled fangs. "What is to come next is what would really hurt them. Slowing down their actions isn't anything like the second stage. Let's just say you probably want to keep them in there."
"Natsu." Lucy said to me. I looked over to her as she eyed us from the other side. My eyes were wide with fear as I held onto the shaking Mouse. "I'm sorry for what happened. I didn't mean what I said." It meant a lot to me that she was apologizing but this isn't really the best time.
"Ummm. What's stage two?" Wendy asked walking up to Snake. Erza was tense about the young dragon slayer nearing a stranger, but she let her continue on. Gray just watched as Mouse and I cowered in fear.
"I can't tell you all my secrets little Dragon."
