Natsu's P.O.V

Most of the day I just hung out by the river. I watched as the rushing water flowed and swam down the stream carrying everything from the previous lands along with it. It reminded me of Kitten. Of how she always had something with her. How she always kept moving despite what was in her path. I just wish she was still here.

Maybe it was time that I made peace with what happened. Maybe I should just listen to what Snake said, but it isn't that easy. I can't just make sense with the fact that i'm a murderer. Kitten's blood is on my hands and I can't ever scrub it off.

I just wish I could have made it up to her. I wish I knew just how to make her happy. Origanally I thought by seeing the stars would have meant that I made her life meaningful, but now I'm going back to the same place that she so desperatley wanted me to leave. Now I just feel like I'm destroying her. I've taken everything she worked for and just spat on it.

"Hey Dragon. What you doing out here?" I heard someone from behind me ask. I turned around to see Snake there with Birdie and Mouse. Birdie and Mouse was Snake's followers when we were back in Demon Hawk. My guess is that they still are. It's been a long time since I've seen the two of them, so I'm guessing that they just met up with Snake a little bit ago. The two girls were twins, so it made it a little difficult to tell them apart.

Mouse had blue eyes and blonde hair that was kept in a long single braid down her back. She wore a purple dress with white trim and a white bow as a belt. Her shoes were short kitten heels that was white. Her skin was nice and pale and her face was soft. Her beautiful blonde eyes were bigger than the usual girl and she looked about sixteen or so. A crossed out purple Mermaid Heel guild mark was printed on her ankle next to a caged Demon Hawk guild mark.

Birdie was different. She wore the same kind of dress but it was light blue with white trim and light blue flip flops with white flowers. Her blonde hair was kept in two blonde braids that came down to about her shoulders. She also wore light pink glasses in order for her to see. Her skin was a little tanner, but still pretty pale. She had the same tattoo as Mouse except hers was light blue. You could see visible scratches and puncture wounds all over her arms and legs. Both Mouse and Birdie had a lot of wounds that had faded and disappeard, so I knew that these scratches were fresh. Birdie did it to herself.

"Oh. Hey guys." I said before turning back around. I wasn't really that attactched to Birdie and Mouse through the years that we were in training, so I didn't really get the need to have a big reunion like what I did with Snake. Besides, I was still thinking over what I was going to do now. Lucy and I fought, and Happy got in trouble because of me.

"Dragon. Why are you so upset?" Birdie asked me. Snake narrowed his eyes before walking up to me and taking a seat on my left. Birdie and Mouse both sat next to each other on my right. All of them stared at me waiting for an answer. I just shrugged and pulled my knees into my chest.

"Did something happen?" Snake added in. I looked to him and then looked back to the river. I wanted to focus on the world's water to avoid tears coming from my eyes. I was still deciding whether I was sad or angry at her.

"Lucy and I got in a fight." I said simply.

"L-Lucy? Who's t-that?" Mouse asked.

"Just a girl from Fairy Tail. I am told that we were friends before I went to Demon Hawk." I told them. I forgot that they didn't know who Lucy was, but explaining to them everything that happened to me would just confuse them more. So I needed to keep it simple.

"Oh. So your from Fairy Tail?" Birdie asked.

"Yeah. That's what I'm told anyway." I have my doubt whether I was actually part of that guild or not. How could someone like me be part of a guild like that? It just didn't add up. Granted I don't remember how I acted before Demon Hawk, but I'm sure that it wasn't like all of them.

"That must be scary. After all, they are one of the most high energied and dangerous guilds of all." Mouse added in. I shrugged.

"At first I was scared of them, but now I'm not so sure. Sometimes people in there can be frightening. Like Erza or Mira, but most of them are really nice one you get to know them. Like Master Makarov. He looks really big when you first see him, but really he's a nice person. A little short, but nice." I was lost in my thoughts as I told them all of this. It's like I knew who everyone was even though I can't really pin the person to the name.

"Sound like too many people to remember." Birdie added in. I nodded and then looked over to Snake. He had his arms crossed as he stared off into space like he was thinking something over. I nudged him and then asked him what he was thinking about.

"I was just thinking about that meeting spot. Since we have everyone that I met up with, we would always just leave now. After all, that means that Fairy Tail won't come looking for us." Snake said.

"I don't know." I mumbled. Everyone looked to me and stared. They all thought I would jump at a chance to go back now, but they were wrong. Something was telling me that heading back now would just be bad. I feel like it would be worse then just leaving in general.

"Don't tell me you want to stay here." Snake said holding the bridge of his nose.

"No. I want . . . I mean. . . . I don't know." I stuttered

"D-Did you want t-to say goodbye to s-someone." Mouse said sweetly. I looked around to all of them and then looked back in the direction of Lucy's apartment. I thought we were getting along. I thought she cared about me, but she yelled at me. The last person to yell at me was Demon Hawk. I guess she really was a new master, and here I thought she was my friend. I looked back to the ground in front of me and closed my eyes.

"No. Let's just get going." I told them.

"Good. Let's head out." Snake said aloud.
