Natsu's P.O.V
All eyes were changing from me to my master. I had no idea what was going to happen. Was master going to beat me again, or was he going to lock me up? All of the questions kept racing through my mind and the only thing I could think of was the future. I never eyes noticed what my master did after that.
"What do you mean trained pet. Natsu's a person." said a little voice spoke in the crowd. I looked over to see a short pale blue haired girl wearing a dress.
"Little girl. Anyone can be a slave, even the most hard headed fighters can be broken." he told the girl. The girl was still confused and continued to keep that look on her face. Everyone also got that same look as master began to laugh again.
I kept my gaze down from everyone in the room who still seemed to watch me. It was too scary to even attempt to make eye contact. Eye contact means challenging someone and I don't want to overstep my bounderies. That is a lesson that I learned over the years of living here.
"Nastu could never. He's so stupid that he wouldn't listen to anyone." the raven haired male from before assured. My master smiled an evil smile. He looked over to me and started to do another evil chuckle.
"Let me prove to all of you. You friend here belongs to me." he told them all. "If you can get close enough to him, check his guild mark. He's no longer part of Fairy Tail." he added. Lucy looked over to me and others tried to come close. I moved away from everyone in fear. Then I back up into Lucy. I swung my body around putting space between us. Lucy kneeled down to my level and looked into my eyes.
"Natsu. I know you're scared, please just let me see." I looked to my master and then to Lucy. Slowly I nodded and she slowly touched my shoulder. She wiped off some dried blood and dirt in order to come down to the red mark that's stays on my shoulder no matter how much time I give it to go away. There is was, a red mark that looks kind of like a bird. Now present with two long fleshy scars forming an 'x' over it.
"YOU X-OUT HIS GUILD MARK!!" the red haired lady screamed. It was so scary that I jumped back a foot or two trying to get more distance between us.
"That's not all I did. On the outside that may be there, but there is something way more broken of the inside. Natsu. Sit." he ordered me. I didn't want to, but I followed. My hands moved under me and my legs tucked under me. There was gasps. "Lie down." he ordered. My arms slid forward and I fell into a lying down position.
"Take him away!" The red haired lady yelled to the raven haired male who followed suit. She turned and looked down to me. My master gave me the order to lie down and I don't get the liberty of moving without him releasing me. I watched as my master was dragged out of guild.
"Natsu." I looked up to the red haired women seemed to be calm now. Fear rose in me, I did something. I did something that caused her to want to beat me. I was going to be tortured now. "Let's just head back. We'll figure out what to do when we get there." she said.
I shook my head and looked back to the bar. Behind it was the trap door. The world that I have known for a long time. Leaving here would be bad. Leaving the place I was trained to stay would be a crime. Why would I even want to leave? I don't know what's out in that world. How am I supposed to live in a place that has mysteries beyond mysteries.
"You don't need to stay here. I promise you'll be happier back home." Lucy told me. My eyes didn't come off the door. I thought this was my home. This is the place i've been for years. What other place could be home for me?
"I don't think we'll get him to leave in any normal way. . . . but maybe we can get him to leave with you." the redhead said to the blonde. Lucy tilted her head in confusion. "Try giving him a command. Maybe he'll listen to you and you can get him to follow you out of here."
"I can try." Lucy said looking down to me. She stood up tall again and then looked down to me. She said my name in order to get my attention, and it worked. "Natsu. Up." she told me. For a second I was confused for a new person giving me a command, but I went along with it. I stood on my hands and knees looking up to her.
"Maybe you can get him to heel until you get him to the trolley car." the women told the blonde with sadness. Her eyes showed anger and so did her face. She was trying to hide her sadness. I knew she was sad because I smelled it. She was sad.
"Natsu heel." Lucy ordered begining to walk away. I followed her staying on her left hand side as she walked out of the guild door and onto the street. Waiting for us was a trolley cart. We made it to the cart and I stopped. Lucy tapped the door's floor and smiled. "Natsu up."
I jumped onto the cart watching as Lucy made her way up too. She sat on one of the cushioned seats and then patted the bench to her right. She repeated the order and I jumped up. She pointed to the cushion and told me to lie down so I did. I lied down with my hands next to her lap and my chin rested on her thigh. She stroked my head with a soft smile until I smelled something. I lifted my head and began to growl.
It was that raven haired man.
