Chapter 7

Harpers P.O.V.
"Holy shit man! You've found your mate?! Damn your lucky and it's the fucking princess" I wish I could brake his face in right about now. He's been going on and on about it since we left the mansion and if I'm not mistaken Morgan has punched him in the back of the head a couple of times. Obviously she was getting tired of it too.

She only told me congrats and that she can't wait to meet her. She's not the type so show her happiness, not since her parents were killed in front of her during the war. The only time she smiles is when she's around Damon, myself or her little sister Amaria. After the war. My family took her and her sister in. They are like little sisters to me.

Once we get to the beach I stop them from walking and turned to them and said, "you are not to address her as princess or any of the royal ways to address a royal. She has no clue of her status and be careful not to piss her or any of the men around her off. They are very protective of her and Damon, be on your best behavior tonight please" Morgan gave me a nod at my instructions and Damon looked at me with shock and said, "I'm always on my best behavior" Morgan and I both looked at him like he was stupid. We just shook our head and went down to the beach.

Once we got close enough to the beach there was two tall men standing there waiting for us, Alex has already told me that her father would be waiting but I didn't know her brother would be waiting as well.

We walk closer to them and waited. Moments later he spoke, "welcome Harper, my daughter has told me that you would be joining us tonight, and who is this young wolf behind you?" He asked looking behind me at Morgan.

"This is Morgan one of the last of the Red Crest Wolf Pack. The rest were killed in battle, my family took her and her sister in, they are my family now"

"Morgan, I see that you are not mated yet, there are a lot of unmated males and females here tonight. Good luck young one and I am sorry for the passing of your pack and family" he said to her with the most gratitude. He looked over to my left and saw Damon, "and this is?"

"My closest friend Damon...he will be no trouble tonight. I promise, the pri-" I stoped myself, "Alex has invited us to come and celebrate with you all.... if that is alright with you and your son"

"My child has no idea that she is a princess and I plan to keep it that way until I talk with John. We must ease her into your world because she is so used to ours. We did raise her. She is much as my daughter as she is theirs. If not more. So I ask of you all, in respect of my family and yours, keep her status a secret until it is time" we all nodded our heads in agreement with the Alpha King.

"Where is she?" I asked not being able to wait any longer for my beautiful goddess. He pointed his finger and said, "you see that speck of gray right there riding the waves. That's her, she's the best surfer here besides her mother and I" He said with a chuckle. "You may go to her" and with that, we were on our way down to the water.

We all watched her in awh. Never seen anything like her before. She truly was amazing on the waves. "Wow Harper, she truly is beautiful, just like her mother The Queen and she's kicking their ass out there" Morgan said with a smile. I have a feeling that she's going to like Alex very much.

I whispered her name. I knew she could here it because only vampires have that type of hearing. Her head snapped up and she whispered back, "Harper" my heart skipped several beats, I loved hearing my name leave her mouth but I would much rather hear her scream it in pleasure. I watched her as she laid down on her black and red surf board and road a small wave to shore with one of her brothers behind her.

Once they go close enough to where they could touch the ground they walked towards us. With every step she took, my smile grew wider and wider, I wanted nothing more than to run to her and gather her in my arms and kiss all over her beautiful face. Once they got close enough to us they stuck their boards in the sand and walked our way. "Lex you want me to stay?" Said the tall guy behind her with his hand on her lower back. I wanted to rip his hand off right there. Damon and Morgan must have felt my tension because they both grabbed on to the back of my shirt.

She looked up at him and replied, "No Ash it's okay, I know them"

"If you say so but do you plan on going back into the waves tonight?"

"No, father said it's going to get cold early so I think imma stop for tonight"

"Alright, I'm going to get Maggie to bring you a change of clothes so you won't get sick but for now, take my shirt until your clothes are brought to you" He said picking his shirt up off the ground. I hated that another mans sent was on her but there was nothing I could do as of now.

After she put it on, he gave her a kiss on the head and walked away. She then turned her attention towards us. "Hey Harper, I'm glad you could make it" her eyes danced with mine. She is truly beautiful. "Thank you for inviting me....these are my closest friends Damon and Morgan"

"Hi, it's nice to meet you. I'm Alex" she said to both of them with a big smile on her face. Morgan was the first to speak and that surprised the hell out of me because she was smiling at her and I could tell that that was a genuine smile. "Hi Alex, I'm Morgan, Harper has told me so much about you. May I just say, I am in love with your hair" Alex laughed and said, "thank you" then Damon spoke,"Nice to meet you Alex, I'm Damon. Harpers sexy best friend"

"Nice to meet you too. I hope you all have fun tonight and Morgan from the heat I feel coming from you, I'm sure your going to find your mate, there are plenty of unmated wolfs here tonight and you are very pretty. Any wolf here would be lucky to have you as their mate" Morgan looked at her with the most of gratitude, then her heart skipped a beat and her head snapped to the left and she was staring at some guy. I heard Alex whisper, "Luke". He growled low and Damon and I were on the move to protect her but Alex grabbed our hands and said, "No stop, that was a warning growl. He's letting her know that she is safest with him, my brother Luke is her mate" we watched as they walked closer and closer to each other and then they shifted into they're wolf. Alex grabbed my hand again and pulled me away from them and told Damon to follow.

"I've seen it happen so may times, once they shift into they're wolf, you might want to leave bc they start to fuck" I couldn't help but laugh, she was so blunt. Damon couldn't help but to laugh as well.

A few moments later we hear two wolf howls and Alex stops and everyone stops then everyone including Alex howls back and they all cheer then Alex speaks, "They are mated, she now belongs to him and he belongs to her. Soon they will be married in front of the Alpha and Luna then she will be moved into the main pack house with him. Finally, Jaine, Leah, and I will have another sister" she looked so happy but little did she know that her life was about to change and that she would be the one moving out.
