Once I signed up for the Spring Fling concert, I went outside to talk with Ernest. I know, that's a very odd thing to say, even for me, but I needed his opinion. He has nothing to do on the break so he's always free."Ernest!" I called to him. "Yes?" he answered. "I need your opinion on something. You see, Declana, kind of told me that she wasn't my friend anymore. In fact, she told me I don't have any friends. She and Keith have really bonded, I don't think the plan is going to work," I stated. "It has to work. Did Declana say it straight up?" asked Ernest. "Not exactly, but in a different sort of way," I reply. "Then you might of misunderstood her. And even if she did mean it, our plan will work. She and Keith will have no choice but to be friends with us," remarked Ernest. "Is there any other amateur information you need to know?" I rolled my eyes. Working on a plan to take back your best friends or not, working with Ernest is never a desire. I just hope Ernest is right about knowing what he's doing. "Nope," I replied and ran away. I wanted to get some more information on the concert and take my mind off my so-called friends for awhile. Declana was talking about it with Allison while Keith was playing basketball with the boys. I've never actually seen Declana and Allison having a conversation together. But things change, real fast, I should know. "Hey," I say entering. "Oh hi Paige, were you just talking with Ernest?" asked Allison. "Umm, yeah, about stuff, like, ummm, the science project?" I reply unconfidently. "Okay, well are you excited about the Spring fling concert?" asked Declana. "Yeah! Totally. When are the practices?" I answer. "After school on Tuesdays and Thursdays if we don't have time during breaks, which we probably won't," stated Allison. "Anyway I'm having an Easter get-together at my house on Easter of course. I was thinking of inviting you guys, along with my family and Keith, since he's my cousin. Then we can go to the park or beach later, what do you say?" I remarked. I thought it would be nice to have my own little party during the spring holidays, so people won't completely forget me. "Sure, I'd love to come over!" exclaimed Declana. "I can come too," replied Allison. I've never had Allison over before. She's really popular, so if our class finds out she wants to go a bunch of other people will want to come too. But I'm only inviting Declana, Keith, and Allison, and only Allison because she's nice. And maybe having her over will increase my popularity level a bit. Right now I'm in the middle of nowhere. Declana is pretty popular too. She went over to Keith to tell him about my little party. "Keith! Keith!" she called. "Pause the game for a second," he told the boys. "Um, Declana I'm in the middle of something." "I just came to tell you quickly that Paige is inviting us for a get-together at her place on Easter, and just so you know, I'm still coming over to your house on Sunday to work on the project right?" stated Declana. "Yeah it's still on, and thanks for the information," he replied and went back to playing. Declana shrugged and came back to us. "I let him know, he doesn't seem too exited though," she remarked. I nodded. Good thing the party is only in a couple of weeks!
