Paige
It's already Tuesday, and I'm hosting my little get-together this Easter weekend. There's a lot of work to be done so I better hurry. I wave goodbye to Claire as I walk out the door of my house with a heavy heart. It's the only place where I'm welcome. When I get to school, no one's there for me, as usual. The classes were boring and I wasted away under the ticking of the clock. At the break after lunch, there was oddly a rehearsal for the Spring Fling Concert. I also heard there wouldn't be a rehearsal after school today. What has this world come to? Anyway, at rehearsal, I saw Declana and Allison, the exact people I wanted to see, on account of the party. I also had to earn Declana's full trust, according to Ernest's plan. "Hey guys! What's up?" I say, trying to sound cool. I defiantly failed. "Hi Paige, how's party planning?" asked Declana. "Good. Listen, I heard you and Keith had some trouble lately, I know it's over now, but if you ever need another friend to talk to, I'm always open to help," I stated. "Thanks Paige, I know I can count on you," replied Declana. That's what I like to hear.
Declana
I'm glad Paige is there for me, but Keith and I have it all under control now. Anyway, practice was beautiful and school was great too. But all the action takes place after it. It was time for my stakeout! I ran back home as fast as I could. I dropped my backpack on the floor and raced up the stairs. I stopped running right outside my bedroom door. Then, I slowly opened the door, just enough to take a peak. I was right on time. The cat was placing the blue rose on my bed. When it turned it's back, I sneaked in behind it. Afterwards, the cat jumped out my bedroom window. Ignoring the blue rose and the note for now, I slowly climbed out my window using the rope I installed yesterday night. I told you I was prepared. Then, the cat ran across the street like it did the other day. I did so too. After it sneaked behind two houses and into a dark alley. I didn't hesitate, but I knew whoever owned this cat is a bit more mysterious than they're supposed to be. The alley was really long, and really dark, so it was pretty hard to follow the cat because I could barley see it. Suddenly, I heard the sound of footsteps. The sound of high-heels boomed against the awkward silence. Frantically, I hid behind a garbage can to watch. Then, out of nowhere, a man and a woman came walking with the cat. I couldn't identify them because I couldn't see their faces and they were all dressed in black. The only thing, not-so black about them was a briefcase the man was holding. I took a closer look at it. It had a blue rose sticking out of it! But those people couldn't possibly be the ones behind this. At least I think not. "Good kitty," the woman said, petting the cat. I watched in confusion as the three of them walked out into the darkness. I scratched my head, and then ran back to my house. So much for solving the mystery. But those people could possibly be the ones collecting the blue roses for someone else to write the notes and send them. The question is, who? I went back up to my bedroom and sat on my bed. I picked up the note lying on it this time.
To you my darling
I am always true
But I meet other people
I make friends that are newThis note has nothing to do with my stakeout, but with somewhat useful information. Whoever it was is someone who just made a new friend. So tomorrow I will watch for anybody who did just that. And planned this whole thing out surprisingly foolproof. Obviously.
