Declana
The next day I was too frazzled to even think! Ernest's Mother would be coming back today! Which meant that today was also my last day alive. I hyperventilated, hoping this was just a nightmare. And of all the nightmares I've ever had, apparently this couldn't be one of them! I was ready to faint and puke at the same time! Too much rushed through my simple head all at once. I cried, I screamed. I couldn't move because I was tied to a stupid wall! I felt like I was going insane.

We rode with our new wolf friends until they lead us to a small cottage in the middle of the woods, right next to a garden of blue roses and an outhouse. "This must be the place!" exclaimed Paige, getting off a wolf's back. "Ernest's parents must've been growing the blue roses here. Ernest did mention he had a cottage in the woods." "I'm having a feeling they might have not gone camping after all, I think they kidnapped Declana and are holding her hostage in that little house!" I realized. "Then this is a much more serious rescue mission than we intended it to be. Goodbye my noble steeds! You have done us well," stated Paige. I stopped her. "No! Wait! If this is a rescue mission, we'll need a diversion, and the wolves can help us with that!" I replied. The wolves walked back to us. Suddenly, a car pulled up at the house. We all hid behind the tall bushes. When the car door flung open, Ernest's Mother stepped out. "She's a doctor, if anyone can reject the juices from Declana, it's her," stated Paige. "Then we'll need to stall her. Paige, you bring the wolves in front of her before she enters the house. In the meantime, I'll sneak into the cottage, free Declana, and then we'll ride away," I explained. "But why you?" asked Paige. "Because the wolves like you more and I made a much bigger mistake with Declana than you. It's the least I can do to redeem myself," I replied. Paige nodded and put our plan in action! She lead the wolves from out of the bushes just before Ernest's Mother had entered the house. "Ahhh! Help! There are hungry wolves everywhere!" she yelled. I stealthily snuck past her and into the house. Surly enough, the first thing I saw, was Declana, tied to a wall. "Keith!" she exclaimed. I ran up to her, and tried to untie her. When I finally succeeded, I helped her off, but the trouble wasn't over yet. Ernest and his Father were standing right in front of us. Ernest's Father aimed some sort of dart gun at us and after that, we both blacked out. When I opened my eyes, I couldn't move a muscle! I was tied to the wall this time, right next to Declana. "You think you could save your friend couldn't you? Well after my husband shot you two with a tranquilizer dart, he helped me escape the wolves. Now you can enjoy your friend perish with us before your eyes," explained Ernest's Mother, and got out a long tube, with a needle at the end. I took a huge breath. I looked at Declana. "I'm so sorry," I whispered. She didn't answer. It should've been me. And just when I though all hope was lost, the door burst open and in came the wolves running at Ernest's parents, with Paige in the back! The wolves chased Ernest's parents out of the house and into the woods. "Didn't think I'd leave you behind did you," chuckled Paige, untying us. Once we were all free we made a run for it. Suddenly, Ernest ran right in front of us. We tried to run around him, but then he caught Declana by her hands before she could get away with us. "This is what you get, for not liking me the first time," he shouted, as he put a piece of duck tape over Declana's mouth. He started to drag her across the floor, and held out a knife in the air. Luckily, Paige and I acted fast. We ran on either side of Ernest, and when the angle was just right, we both hit him with our hips as hard as we could! Unfortunately, he was holding Declana, and when he fell on the floor, Declana fell too, right on her head. We tried everything to get her back up so we could escape, but she wasn't waking up! Suddenly, I remembered the blue roses! I picked a bunch of blue roses from the garden and then put them by her nose to smell. And surly enough, it worked! Without further delay, we ran outside while we had time. Paige wolf whistled really loudly to get the the attention of the wolves who were leading a wild goose chase. In a few minutes they arrived, we sat up top and rode away into the distance. Victoriously.
