Grant
Each moment today was enchanting with her. The sparkle came back to her eyes, Azaria hasn't smiled so big for so long. We were back at my apartment.
"Azaria, you're not going back there, not without me. I don't want you going home, only to wake up alone. I want you with me so I can help."
"Okay."
We went back to her apartment, packed up all of her stuff, returned her keys, and drove back to my place. She never really told me why, why she loved to be so isolated. Her and I have been dating for almost two years and yet she refused to move in with me.
It all didn't make sense to me, how she was so fond of being reclusive but dread the lonely feeling. I tried to explain countless times that being alone, will indeed make you lonely. She made no sense to me at all.
I guess that's what I enjoy most about her. You see, Azaria always has something to say. A random phrase or word, something that is incomprehensible. That girl could never in a million years be boring. Each word builds a pathway, creating this adventure. A journey you truly never want to come to a conclusion.
Her mind floods with ideas, they could soar higher than one could distinguish. She holds a cap on her imagination, her extravagant sunny thoughts. The gloomy sentiments invade the shine.
We placed her stuff all over the house, hung her clothes, made room for her mugs, and all the damn tea.
"Azaria why all the tea?" I laughed.
"Okay it's actually really good, I'll make you some." She smiled while brewing me a cup of her famous tea.
We watched her favorite movie, cuddled, and drank tea (even though my taste buds still did not approve). Then ordered Chinese, and soon her eyes began to shut daintily.
I carried her to my bed, laid her down, and situated the covers. Then I cleaned up the mess, and joined Azaria in bed.
"Goodnight Grant." She said rubbing her eyes smiling.
"Goodnight Azaria, I love you."
She looked me in the eyes, her smile loosened.
"And maybe someday you'll mean that."
She turned away from me, then quickly drifted asleep.
