3:45 a.m.
Arriving home, I set down my car keys and sat on the couch exhausted. I saw a wine bottle out, almost empty.
"Finally home?"
"Oh, hi Azaria." She startled me, and I knew I got automatic front row seats to a lecture.
"So uh, where were you exactly?"
"Out with the boys, at the bar. Guess I lost track of time."
"I was worried about you."
"Oh, well I'm fine."
"Night." She was upset.
With that she exited the living room, into the bedroom. Normally I would've tried to talk to her, apologize, and make it up to her but I was in no mood for drama. A couple wrong moves and I'm put in this hellhole in which Azaria runs. She comes around eventually though, can't handle the fighting.
Azaria is the type of girl the expand and put words into your mouth. The kind of girl who will exaggerate any little event that isn't pleasing to her. Sometimes she just doesn't realize how extremely busy I am, nor does she respect that. Azaria can't accept the fact that I have friends, and a life of my own.
I approached the bedroom, laid down while putting my arm around her. Azaria moved away as I sighed.
"I'm sorry, God." With no reply, I fell asleep.
I woke up to empty sheets beside me. Steady making my way out of bed, and emerging into the kitchen I found a note on the table.
"Be home around 8.
-Azaria"
