chapter 24 - dont let me lose it

- Yeah, you're gonna be a granddad again in about eight months, how does that feel? i ask. And a dad.

- Feels wonderful, 'Money' says.

Me and 'Money' hug our son, daughter in law and our grandson once more each before we have to go home. On the way home, i feel something aint right, but i don't say anything to 'Money', he's so happy for the new baby we're having, and for our grandson.

- What's wrong, baby, i can see there i something, 'Money' says.

- Just, some...sickness caused by the pregnancy, i say, what i don't say is that i can feel blood running down in to the pad i put in my panties before we left.

*I cant lose this baby, i think, and text the nurse who was kind enough to give me her cell phone number for emergencies*

"Hi Alice, this is Jackie Harlon, we met earlier today at the hospital, you did a pregnancy test on me, i have a question, right as i type this, i can feel blood running in to my underwear, should i be worried?/Jackie"

I get an answer within two minutes.

"Hi Jackie, yeah, i think perhaps you should be worried, it may be nothing, but just to be sure, don't tell Jacob or anyone else about it yet, i'll come over to your place and do a second test on you, i'll be there in half an hour, hopefully less/Alice"
