I dress quickly and get ready to leave for the hospital. Money looks at me, shock edged on his face.
- Baby, i'm so sorry, he says.
- Stay with the kids, Jacob, take care of Sarah, i say.
- Mom, dont worry, we can stay, Cash, Ana and Nick says as one. We can take care of Sarah while you go see uncle Danny.
- Are you sure? I ask.
- Yeah, we're sure, mom, now go, both of you, and send our regards to our dear uncle, wish that old badass bastard a speedy recovery, Cash says.
- We will, and thank you, kids, Money says. For everything, for helping with your sibblings.
- That was the way you raised us, dad, to look out for eachother, to take care of eachother, Nick says. We are a pack, remember, all of us, this family, uncle Danny included, the gangs, both of them, we look out for eachother, take care of eachother.
- You boys sure are young copies of me, Money says and hugs both his sons to him. My little men are not so little anymore, you two are vise beyond your years, that you both got from your mother.

Money and i leave and go to the hospital to see Danny.

When we get there, we get sent to Danny's room right away. The room is in semi darkness but i see my brother's bright chocolate brown eyes glow when he sees me.
- My little Jacks, he says.
- Hey, badass, i say and get closer to the hospital bed. How are you feeling, big brother?
- Like I've been ran over by a muscle car, Danny grunts and tries to sit up.
- Ough, easy, hold on, i'll help you, i say and help him get comfortable in the hospital bed. How bad is it?
- Not too bad, Jackson probably made it sound like i was dying, Danny says.
- You bet he did, i say.
- Typical Jackson, Danny says.
- How badly hurt are you, though? I ask.
- Concussion, a couple broken ribbs, broken hand, broken ankle, broken wrist, broken collarbone, dislocated shoulder, and i was shot, Danny says.
- Doesnt sound too bad, besides getting shot, i say.
- Yeah, not too bad, i'll be alright, but gotta take time off from work, Danny says.
- You'll get through it, i say.
- Yeah, i'll get through it, Danny says.
- I can put in some work for you, if you need me to, i say.
- Thanks, sis, yeah, i might need you to put in some work for me, Danny says.
- Then i will, i say.
