chapter 26 - better be good to you

I hug Alice one more time before she leaves.

- Tell that Jackson Harris to be good to you, othervise he'll have to deal with his boss's wife, i say, hugging Alice.

- Thanks Jacks...take care of yourself and your baby, she says before she leaves.

- Will do, i say and as Alice has left, i go to Jacob in the bedroom. Hey, 'Money'.

- Hey, baby, was Alice just here, i thought i heard her voice, he says as i get in to bed.

- Yeah, she was just here, i was bleeding and got worried, so i called her and she came over and did a test on me...don't worry, the baby is fine, we just gotta hold off on the sex for a few days, i say.

- Are you okey? 'Money' asks, worried.

- Yeah, i'm okey, she told me something that made me worried though...i say.

- What, baby? 'Money' asks.

- Jackson beats her...a lot...i say.

- I know, he brags about it, don't worry, baby, i'll deal with him, i've already told him that if he doesn't quit with that, i'll have to report him to the cops, 'Money' says. To you're former colleagues, perhaps, and make sure he ends up in the same prison where i was locked up, the other inmates were pretty nice to rapists there...
