Chapter 35 - i dont wanna lose you

8 months later.

I wake before Jacob, i think...i look around the bedroom, he aint there, i get up and go look for him, but cant find him, and our daughter is gone.

I get to the kitchen and see Jacob sit with our baby daughter in his arms, he looks destroyed.
- Jacob, what's wrong? You look like something has happend to Roxanne, i say.
- Something has happend to her...i dont know what to do, Jacob says.
- We have to take her to the hospital, i say.
- Yeah, Jacob says.

Jacob goes to start my car while i bring our daughter. We take her to the hospital and when we get there, there is already a doctor and a couple nurses ready to take care of our little girl.
- Will she be okey? Jacob asks as he holds on to me.
- Yeah, she is alright, she's just have a bit of a fever, but she'll be alright, not to worry, it was good you brought her in, the nurse says.
- Oh thank god, Jacob says.

One of the nurses sees me pass out and runs to assist me right away, sending Jacob out of the room so he wont be in the way.
- We'll call you back in, sir, but right now, we need you out of the way so we can help your wife, the nurse says. Call on a doctor! Now! Mrs Harlon?! Mrs Harlon, can you hear me? Mrs Harlon, if you can hear me, squeeze my hand!

While two nurse work on me, another two work on Roxanne who's stopped breathing. When they realize the infant is a lost cause, they concentrate on me.
