Chapter 58 - gas monkeys

- At least for like a week or two, Danny says.

- If i see you in the garage after a week, i will put you back here myself, i say with a little laugh. You stay here or at home til you actually can work.

- But I'm fine, sis, Danny says.

- If you dont stay here til you're healed, i will personally chain you to your bed, i say. I'll have Money and Cash hold you down while i do.

Danny laughs and then grunts as pain shoots through his ribs.

- Ouch, damn, that hurt like a bitch, Danny says.

- I bet it did, by the way, when do you need me to be in the garage? i ask.

- Call KC and ask him when he needs you to come in, he is my right hand in the garage, Danny says.

- I will, i'll call KC when i'm home, I say.

- Good, thank you, sis, Danny says.

- I'd do anything for my brother, you know that, Danny, if you need my help with anything, anything at all, all you have to do is ask me, I say. The things i do for those i love would scare most people shitless.

- Well, you've killed for not only your husband and kids, but also for me, and for that i will forever be thankful to you, little sister, Danny says.

I pick up my phone and call KC.

- Hey brother man, Danny is in hospital, don't worry, he will be fine, but i'll be taking over his work for a while, til he has healed completely, I say.

- Alright, do you need me or the guys to do anything for you? KC asks me.

- Just let me know what you're working with and how it's going, how soon you need me in the garage, I say.

- I will, can i call you back once i've had a look into what projects we are currently working on and how far along we are on them? KC asks me.

- Sounds good to me, i say.

I hang up and look at Danny.
- KC would look in to what projects they are working on and get back to me with details on what they are and how far along they are on them, and from there we will work out how much they will need me at the garage, I say.

- Good, Danny says.

- Dont worry, big brother, your garage and buiesness is safe with me, I say.

- Thank you, Jacks, Danny says. Give my regards to the guys, and to my brother in-law, and to my nephews and nieces.

- I will, i will give your regards to all of them, I say. Daniel, i must go now, i'll be back tomorrow to check on you, okey.

- Okey, sis, i'll see you tomorrow and i promise to be careful from now on, Danny says as i hug him one more time before i go home.
