Chapter 55 - You gotta stay out of it, Money

- And two...i was an idiot for even thinking i didnt want another baby with you, i want all your children to be mine and i want all my children to be yours, Money says. And i promised you when we got married that we would have as many children as you wanted.
- So you dont want me to get rid of it? I ask.
- No, baby, i dont want you to get rid of it, Money says. So...are we good? Or do you hate me still?
- I've never hated you, Money, you know i love you with all my heart, always have, always will, i say.

I get up and hug my husband, hold him to me to show him how much i love him. He leans in and nuzzle my hair the same way i do against his chest.
- Mm, hey baby, Money mumbles.
- Mm, hey, mm...mine...my Money, my sexy Money, i say, nose against his chesthair. I love you.
- Only your Money, always your Money, he mumbles against my hair.

Money's phone rings.
- No, dont answer it, i mumble against his chest.
- It's Danny, baby, i have to pick it up, Money says.

I let go of my husband and stare at him, why does my brother call my husband instand of calling me.
- Money, hey there D, what's up, man? Money says.
- Hey buddy, i tried calling Jacks but couldnt reach her, Danny says.
- What's up, man? Oh, you tried calling Jackie, ah, her phone isnt charged, thats why you couldnt reach her, what's going on? Money asks.
- Can i talk to Jackie, please? Danny asks.
- Sure, man, Money says and hands me the phone. Danny wants to talk to you, baby.
- Oh, i say and take the phone that Money holds out to me. Hey D, what's up, darling brother mine?
- Hey, sis, it's happend something, Danny says.
- What's going on, Danny? I ask. Has something happend to you?
- Yeah, i'm in trouble, sis, Im calling to warn you and Money, you, him, Cash and Nick gotta stay out of it, me and the gang will handle it, since i am Money's second in command if Cash aint there, Danny says. My nephews and my brother in-law will keep you and my nieces safe.
- You know the guys will want to help out, and you know i will want to help out too, i say.
- Then you gotta make them stay with you, and you gotta stay behind too, sis, Danny says. We both know you can do it, Money listens to you and so does my nephews and i know you at least used to listen to me.
- Alright, Dan, i'll do what i can to keep them away from trouble and keep them safe, and tell them you and the gang will handle it on your own without your gangleader and leader's wife and son, i say before we end the call.
- What did your brother say? Money asks.
- He's in trouble, but no, he didnt need our help, he wants the Harlon's out of it, i say. He and the gang will handle it without us, Danny even said he didnt want us to help him this time, he said he was gonna tell us about it all once its over.
- Alright, then we wont, we'll stay out of it and hope all goes well for him and the gang, Money says.
- Yeah, he wants to keep us safe, he will get help from our gang and Cash's gang, Cash's new second in command is our new nephew Jason, Beast's son that Danny adopted after Beast's death, i say.
- Did your brother adopt one of Beast's sons? Money asks.
- Yeah, he did, the one that Ana dated was killed along with his mother about three weeks after you killed Beast, i say.
- Oh, Money says. That's really cool of Danny to have adopted one of his sons though, even though the kid's biological father was an asshole. Which one did you say he had adopted?
- He's adopted Jason, younger brother to the guy Ana dated, i say.
- That's really cool of him, Money says.
- Yeah, feels pretty cool to have gotten a new nephew, even though the new nephew is an adult, i say. And even though you killed the new nephews biological father.
- Hopefully all will be alright, even though i killed our new nephew's biological father, Money says.
- I'm sure all will be fine, my love, i say calmly.
