Anyway, enjoy.
P.S ANNOYED!!! I'VE HAD TO RE-WRITE THIS GOD DAMN CHAPTER 3 TIMES BECAUSE WATTPAD IS CRAP!!!

[Paytons POV]
I tapped aimlessly at the tree trunk, my eyes fluttering as I struggled to stay awake. I'd been awake all night, waiting for Demi to wake, but still no luck.
I wonder what the time is.
The suns high in the sky so it could be as late as 2 o'clock but knowing my luck at judging the time it's probably only 11.
Who knows.
Everyone whos not a walker except me and Demi or dead people perhaps?
I stood to my feet and began to kick my feet up, trying anything that could keep me awake.
'Come on, Demi.' I mumbled and leant down after a few seconds.
I smacked at her cheeks and tickled her ears but no luck.
Hmm...
I leaned in real close and screamed as loud as I could, she shot up instantly smacking right into me and we fell backwards again.
'Shit Demi...' I groaned.
'Sorry.' She mumbled. 'You shouldn't have scared me!!'
'You've been unconcious for days.' I rolled my eyes.
She gasped. 'Days?'
'Well... Not really days... About 11 hours.'
She groaned and began to stand to her feet. 'Where are we?'
'About 1 mile from the house.' I whispered. 'When I got us out I ran as fast as I could, I know everyone else got out first.'
'They did?' She sighed happily. 'Good.'
'So should we head back? They'll all be there if anyway first. To scavage things that survived.' I shrugged.
She nodded and took a quivering step forward. She grabbed hold of me instantly and whimpered. 'My legs are dead.'
'Jump on my back.' I commanded. 'I can run with you.'
'You sure?'
I nodded and she nodded slowly and began to clamber onto my back.
I grabbed her thighs and held her against my back as she wrapped her arms and legs around me so she wouldn't fall.
I let go and slowly built up a quick jog through the forest.
About 10 minutes later I was very out of breath and couldn't help but fall to my knees.
'How far now?' She asked.
'Qautre of a mile...' I mumbled. 'At least.'
'I'll walk the rest then.' She slipped off my back landing right on her feet, she wobbled for a second but luckily got her feet and began to walk slowly.
