[Payton's POV]
The stranger charged towards us like a tank before I could even comprehend what he was doing. I had no time to think so I reacted on impulse and grabbed my sword, lifting it up so it was horizontal across my chest.
However, his body twisted and instead of running straight at me, he was going for Charlotte just behind me who was just as surprised as he came at her. Before, he could reach his target, I pounced and crashed right against him so the two of us fell to the floor. My shoulder seized in pain and I bit my lip hard to pause the cry of pain that would of escaped otherwise.
'Don't you dare touch her!' I hissed through the pain. I grabbed the sword and twisted it so the it rested against his neck, he didn't even gulp. How could he keep his cool in this situation when I was only hanging on by a thread?
He chuckled slowly and tried to lift up his hands before I stopped and crossed over his body and sat, knees first, on his elbows. 'Don't you fucking move either.'
'You know what... I just had a revelation. You're hot when you're angry.'
'I swear to god I will punch you in the face, really hard!' I snapped. 'Don't even test me sweetheart because I will shove my fingers through your stomach and wriggle them around.'
'Do it love, you're sat on me, you're on top tonight.' He paused after every sentence and stared at me with absolute venom. 'I love a woman who shows dominance.'
'You sick, twisted, disgusting freak!!' I snapped, letting go of one of my sword just to smack him across the cheek.
Charlotte gasped behind me and finally ran to my side.
'What do I do?' She blinked in surprise, as if this entire meeting was still unbelievable to her. Well, I don't blame her, it was rather out of the box but we'd never actually met other survivors since the outbreak so I'm just thinking that this is the norm' when it does happen.
'I want to knock him unconscious.' I mumbled. 'However, I don't want a walker to get him. I would also like to shoot him but I don't want to just kill a human... He won't let us walk, Charlotte. It's your call.'
'I don't know!' She gasped in horror. 'At university, I wasn't trained how to react when a man wants to kill you and the only way to stop that from happening is to kill him.'
'You girls are terrible at this.' The stranger mumbled beneath me. 'Honestly, I'm almost irritated by the ignorance you have.'
I growled and turned my body so that I could punch him hard in the stomach. He wheezed and gagged, cursed a few unholy profanities at me but other than that the guy was still alive. For now.
'Shut up!' I snarled again. 'If you push your luck again, I will stab you in the thighs so you can't run when the walkers come so then you get a nice slow death. However, something more important just came up. Where the hell is my bow?'
The stranger smirked again. 'What? That piece of wood with a carving of a penis in it. That can't be classed as a bow surely, maybe a misshapen boomerang.'
'It means something to me!' I snapped, not really thinking about my words. 'It's my favourite weapon and it's the only thing that's kept me, myself, alive for these past three months. Why are you tormenting us?! Give me my weapon and be on your way.'
'See... The thing is... Sweet cheeks... I can't do that. I have a group nearby and do you know what they like? Fat humans. They like to kill 'em, cook 'em and then when the sun goes down, we feast. We suck on their bones, gnaw at the meat, oh it is sensational.' He smirked and twisted his neck around so he looked like a wiggling snake. 'So, my job is to kill you and take you back... For dinner.'
