Chapter 1.

I hummed to myself lightly as I made my way through the venue halls. I had been to many places like this, expensive venues where a few hours of rent probably cost the same amount of money as someone's mortgage. This one though, unlike the elegant, sparkling ones, looked quite vintage. I liked it, most of the walls had never been painted or plastered and had been washed out by use over the years. I kind of felt like I was in a different time.
I lifted my hand to push the already slightly ajar door all the way open but stopped as I heard two voices from inside the room.
Apart from the initial acknowledgement of hearing his voice, the male in the room completely slipped out of my attention and I almost forgot he was there as I watched them. I leaned to get a better view while still staying a safe distance from the door so there was no chance of mistakenly pushing it.
I had been all for getting them back to each other, ignoring the tiny part of me that disagreed. Now that I stood watching her smile up at him as he held her I knew 'tiny' was actually colossal.
Their words were mostly drowned from my ears as all of my senses seemed to focus only on her. She looked extremely happy and that made me really happy too. I studied the way most of her perfectly curled hair was pinned back – surprisingly, probably only still looked that perfect because she didn't want to mess her sister's pictures up, I would be willing to bet that she was going to mess it up before the pictures anyway, her sister wouldn't mind. She couldn't mess those pictures up, really, no matter what her hair looked like. Her makeup was streaked with gold finishes as the other woman in the wedding party's were. The soft purple dress she wore hugged her figure and then cascaded down to just above her knees. She cutely stood on the tips of the heels she was wearing to reach closer to him as they spoke, or kissed... She gave a laugh and I felt a smile tug at my lips before I bit my lower lip shaking my head as my smile fell.
What the hell am I doing here? Oh yeah. I had to give her the bouquet to give to her sister... I quickly decided to give it to Liliana myself, I did not want to interrupt them – well, I couldn't interrupt them.
Good thing this would basically be the last of them I would be seeing for a while. Of course I would miss both of them, but I was sure the distance would wipe her from my memory – or at least erase her enough for me to feel like she was a friend again, or a cousin, ha.
I backed away from the door deciding to wait for the wedding to start with everyone else.

*Aria*
I leaned behind the wall listening to the footsteps get closer as I clutched the gun in my hand.
"Aria." I turned to look at Danica, the woman I was currently working with. She signalled to the door across the halll, I shook my head in response: no. Her glare at me deepened but I ignored it until she suddenly sprinted across the hall. I swore beneath my breath as I bolted out of my hiding place and began shooting. I heard her yell out from the room she just bolted into as she stumbled back into the hall and I grabbed her by her shoulders quickly shoving her back into hiding using one of my hands to practically hurl her across the hall while I fired into the room she had just come out of before I stumbled back into hiding and knelt down to see the damage to her shoulder as she reloaded her gun, there wasn't much damage, just some of her skin had been brushed by a bullet that had just slipped by her.
"Are you alright?" I asked.
"You were supposed to cover me."
"By going into a room we had not even surveyed first?" I hissed.
