Chapter 3 - Back to Reality

We could've laid in bed forever, just the two of us. But just like back at St. Vladimirs, soon people would be worried about us not going to dinner.

We regrettably got up from the bed, and started to get dressed. Suddenly I felt his hands pulling me towards him, and my body went willingly.

" You have made me the happiest man alive, we've been through so much and whatever comes at us we can handle it. I love you Roza with my whole being and always will. "

He then kissed me softly, and as his mouth travelled to my ear he whispered softly;

" Я люблю тебя " I immediately understood the meaning of the Russian words. He said I love you, and it was filled with even more passion than ever before. I loved him even more when he spoke Russian it made him look even more like a god if that was possible. With this I plucked up the courage and whispered back.

" Я люблю тебя " I replied in almost perfect Russian. I saw the surprised look on his face and immediately felt proud of myself. I loved surprising him.

" Perfect Roza, when did you learn that. " He said amused.

" I've been trying to learn some Russian, for you and for the next time we go back to Baia. I can have quite a brain on me comrade. "

At this Dimitri really chuckled.

" We do indeed need to visit my family they will be thrilled with the wedding. "

" We still have to tell my parents, Abe will have you running for the mountains with all his mob connections. " I said half smilling  half serious.

At this Dimitri really laughed, one of his rare laughs, mostly reserved for me.

" Nothing could send me away from you. Plus I already asked both your parents for their permission. Which they gave, Abe was tricky but deep down his happy for us. He only wants what's best for you once he saw that's what I wanted the same he was happy for us finally getting married. "

I was happy that my parents knew. They had become very close and important to me in the last 8 years.

Dimitri's voice was filled with love and truth, and right there and then I knew he was right.

We could never be apart from each other.

I kissed him once more, and we headed for the door.

I glanced back at the cabin, with the trees and lake standing proudly  behind it.

It was perfect, and it was just ours. Our secret hideout away from Moroi and guardians.

Somewhere we could just be us.

With those thoughts and flying on cloud 9 we headed for the banquet room to meet Lissa.
