Chapter 4 - The Attack

As soon as we reached the Courts big dinning room, both Andre and Rosie ran towards us.

" Did you say yes Auntie Rosie, are you and uncle Dimitri going to be like mommy and daddy?" Andre said sounding very hopeful.

" Yes we are Andre, we are getting married. " I smiled as the twins face lit up, and they jumped into our arms. The whole room erupted into cheers. Lissa ran up to us, with Christian following closely behind. Lissa threw her arms around me.

" I'm so happy for you, finally Dimitri you took your time to make her Mrs Belikov." she said laughing, and with this the while the whole room started to laugh along with her.

" Mrs Hathaway-Belikov thank you very much. Plus I will still be Guardian Hathaway, or it could get confusing around court, to say the least." I argued back.

"We shall have to see about that. Guardian Belikov has a great ring to it. " Interrupted Dimitri's voice.

" I'm so happy for you, we will have to start planning straight away. Of course you and Dimitri can have time off." Lissa's voice was full of joy and excitement. She loved planning, and she had been waiting to plan my wedding for a long time. No wonder she was excited.

I didn't mind Lissa planning, I didn't like it anyway. Knowing Lissa as well as I did, the wedding would be perfect. That's Lissa for you, a perfectionist. The wedding would have to be in Baia of course, that was non-negotiable. Baia felt like home with Dimitri's family, and there was no where else I wanted to get married.

Suddenly I was back on Guardian mode, as the Court alarm rang and instinct took over.

Stragoi were near.

I looked at the Dragomir-Ozera, family and one single thought crossed my mind.

They come first.
