Chapter 16 - The meeting.

It had been two weeks since the cabin night. Eventually me and Dimitri had to get out of our bubble and get back to reality. So here I stood, at a council meeting by Lissa's side. She didn't feel right me standing behind her, to her I was her equal, and with that in my mind, my place was always at her side. As her personal head guardian.

"But your majesty, we need to keep pushing back against the stragoi. There are less stragoi, for now they are weak and its time for us to take charge." One of the princes addressed Lissa. She stayed calm, head held high and strong. She had truly become a great Queen, strong willed, smart, yet so kind and gentle. When she spoke her voice was sure, and what she said surprised everyone.

"What do you think, guardian Hathaway? " sure Lissa had asked me these questions plenty of times but never in front of the council. I put my guardian mask up, and thought for a second.

"I agree, I think we should carefully devise plans, and then attack before they have a chance to get a larger group."

"Thank you. What about you guardian Belikov?" Lissa asked. If Dimitri was shocked only I saw it, because I knew him so well. Dimitri was head guardian for Christian and just like me, he stood proudly besides his charge.

"I agree with what guardian Hathaway has said, we should set up a small group of guardians and Moroi to analyse the situation. But not too many as not to leave any Moroi vulnerable, once a strategy has been made we should attack before they have a chance to enlarge their numbers to  much." He spoke with a confident tone, all wrapped up in his guardian mark. He was simply gorgeous.

"Ok, I agree with you that we should at least investigate possible hideouts and then go from there. Please get guardian Hans to gather a group I trust his judgement. Thank you all that concludes this meeting."

With that all royal's stood up, bowed and left the room.

I turned to Lissa to speak but suddenly I felt nausea, and bile climb my throat. I ran to the closest trash can and grabbed it just in time to puke into it. Instantly Dimitri was by my side holding my hair, and rubbing my back. After I felt better I put the trash can down.

"You feeling better Roza?" He said concern all over his face.

"Yeah I don't know where that come from."

Lissa ran up to us, and although she was worried I could see some excitement in her.

"You ok Rose? Oh my you know what this could be? " She said a smile spreading her face. She saw my confused face and went on,

"It might be the baby, Rose, it could mean you're pregnant."

With that I felt weak at the knees and the last thing I saw was Dimitri as he cought my falling body.

Then all I saw was darkness.

so guys sorry that not much happened in this chapter, but the next is going to be great two major revelations coming up. So be ready for it later today.
