Chapter 20 - We're ALL Leaving.

I spent the Nextel hour in that room, worried about Dimitri. Not even my wedding could be normal. Jeez, in my life how could I expect anything to be normal. Weird, doesn't even begin to cover it when it comes to our lives.

As soon as the door opened, I immediately took a guardian stance. But as soon as I saw my Russian God walking  through the door, I relaxed and ran into his arms.

"Dimitri I was so worried, if anything happened to you, I would never...." I let my voice trail off, as tears began to flow down my face. Dimitri pulled me towards him, and kissed me passionately.

"Come on love birds, there's children in the room." Said Christian with a big grin on his face.

"What can they do, they just ready to go on their wedding night, get a room. " Adrian spoke up with a laughter.

"Oi, even pregnant I cab beat you two in an instant and don't you two forget it." I gave the boys my best death glare, but they could still see the amusement I was sure.

"Ohh little Dhampir you wouldn't hurt our beautiful faces." He said managing, a sad face.

"Alright, alright enough teasing. The situation is under control, but were flying back to court now. Lissa may I ask that my family goes with us? The stragoi will do anything to get to Rose, and that may involve going after anyone in this room." Dimitri asked, with a worried expression on his face.

"Of course Dimitri, I'll get someone to set up one of the guest houses ready for them. I want to make sure everyone is safe"  Lissa replied.

"Actually that won't be necessary, their house is ready, I had with the Queen permission, a house built for you two as a wedding gift at court. It was a surprise. But under the circumstances that has changed." Abe spoke. I looked at him shocked, and all I could manage was a thank you. That was all he needed.

" Thank you Abe, it means a lot to us, I'm sure we will love it." Dimitri spoke gratitude clear in his voice.

" I'll do anything for Rose and the baby. The house has extra wards, plus it has an underground tunnel directly out of the court where there's always a car positioned. As well as the tunnel goes straight to the room. Everything for your safety." Abe finished I was shocked, but so thankful. He saw that in my face and smiled at me.

"Is this really necessary, Dimka. I'm sure will be fine." Olena pleaded.

"Please mamma, this will make me feel better, it won't be long. And this way all you can experience the baby with us." The expression on Olena face, it was obvious Dimitri got what he wanted.

"Ok, we will go, you had me at the word baby." Olena said as her whole face brighten up. The whole of the Belikov clan agreed eagerly.

With that we packed our bags waited until the sun rose, and next thing I knew we were on a plane on the way back to court.

At least there we were safer.

For now at least, it will still be safe.

Lets hope it stays that way.
