Kate's POV...

So today already started off so badly, i'm at my locker looking for my book for my next class, Emma and Cali didn't come to school today so I am left alone to face the horrors called school alone

"Hey Kate what you doing, "Josh greeted me smiling looking so cute in his alpha printed T-shirt

Nothing really just trying to find my science book for my next class," i said smiling

"Yikes"i don't think you would have any luck because your locker needs some serious organizing, it looks like hurricane Katrina just did wonders in there," Josh teased me laughing

"Whatever," I said poking him with my pen

By the way, have you seen by any chance seen Zane he kind of went dark on me a week ago and you know we have a project to finish," I ask trying not to sound worried

Now that you mentioned it I haven't seen him either around school but I'm sure he is fine, he hardly talks about his issues, but I know he can definitely take care of himself, "Josh assured me as the look on his face showing he really didn't want to talk about Zane

If you say so, but I really do need to find him anyways or else I would fail my history class," i said trying not to sound frustrated

In that case, I think Christian might be of help, he is the only one that could solve the mystery that is the disappearance of ZANE Blac," Josh said quickly giving me a hug and running over to meet his football buddies

"Ugh" I groaned in frustration can this day get any worse!" i cried out

The bell rang soon enough, so I hurriedly picked up any book from my locker and made my way to my next class

Luckily for me class went by so quickly, so I went to the cafeteria in hopes of finding Christian

"Where is he?" my eyes wandered around the cafeteria searching for him, luckily I spotted him at the far end of the room scrolling through his phone

"What's up Chris" I yelled greeting him

Oh God Kate, never scare a guy like that again," he said putting his hands to his chest in shock

Oh my god Chris you need to relax," I said laughing

Hmm, so tell me what do you want? that you have to scare the living day light out of me "Chris asked with his arms crossed as he stared at me with his deadliest glare

I can take you there right now if you don't mind skipping a few classes" Chris suggested

I'm not worried okay, I just really need him because we have a project to complete," I lied trying to sound uninterested

"Soon enough Christian stop us in front of what looks like an abandoned cabin

why are we here?''I asked looking so surprised as to why Christian had brought me here instead of taking me to see Zane

You asked me to take you to where Zane might be... didn't you? so this is where he might be, "he said signally to the abandoned cabin

I looked around utterly confused, why would Zane be here of all places, it doesn't make sense" I murmured to myself

"Suddenly the door of the cabin flew open and Zane stood there with a stern expression on his face

why the hell did you bring her here," he walked up to christian yelling

why don't you ask her bro,don't ask me,'' he said shutting Zane up

soon enough Zane gaze shift to me as he moved closer to me looking at me in the eyes

What the hell are you doing here? He whispered softly with his eyes not showing it's anger anymore

You are not supposed to be here" He grabbed me by the arm and said

I'm here because you decided to ghost me all of a sudden, and you know fully well that we have a project to finish, so I'm not leaving here until we complete our project," I said giving him one of those my back off or you died to look

Inside the cabin was not as bad as it was outside, it was nicely decorated and has a good homely touch to it

Those cabin is this ?" I asked looking around overly curious

It's none of your business, can you just sit down let's finish this project as quickly as possible, so you can leave", Zane said practical forcing me to sit down

OK then" I will just sit here and stare at you all day until you tell me what's going on with you, "I finished saying with a devilish grin on my face

"Fine" it belongs to my dad before he left us so I come here to escape from everything and everyone," he said nonchalantly

I'm so sorry for making you remember that, "I said trying to make it less awkward than it already was

I could see him trying so hard look uninterested in front of me as i could feel him having some kind of internally battle within himself whether to open up to me or not

Yeah, so now that you know can we get back to this project, so you can leave!" Zane repeated with an unreadable expression
