Kate's POV ...

Josh insisted on paying for me despite my protest, as he smiled smugly when I finally conceded to letting him pay

We were the last to pay for the paintballing, so everyone were all suited up and ready  to go

So this is like our second first date," Josh said out of nowhere as we were getting all geared  up

Oh, are we now a couple? I laughed teasing him

He smirked looking up at me as he bent over to tie his laces

Well I certainly hope so, I know is only a fake relationship but I was hoping we could be more than that

You are perfect Kate, and want to be with you for real this time," he said moving in to kiss me

Oh...Okay," I said nervously as I flinched back not expecting those words from him

I think the others are waiting for us, "I said grabbing my helmet quickly and walking towards the others eager to leave as his words were gradually suffocating me

Finally Kate!!! Danny exclaimed

what took you guys so long, I'm sure you guys were getting it on in there " he said laughing hard

Just Shut up Danny," Emma said hitting him hard with her gun

Now that you all are here, "The instructor says, we going to be playing in groups of 2, so chose your partner

Cali quickly teamed up with Emma, Christian with Harley, Zoe with Emily, and Danny with Josh, Beth didn't want to get herself stained with paint so I was left to pair up with Zane(such bad luck)

He hadn't spoken to me since the whole poster incident, so I wasn't sure how our partnership would work out

So Zane, what's our game plan here? I asked quite unsure how this whole thing would play out

Look, you stay out of my way and I would stay out of yours got that, "Zane replied walking to the other end of the arena

I took a deep breath trying to calm myself down, cause I was this close to losing it and snapping at him

The game started and Zoe and Emily were already knocked out leaving 8 of us in the game, it took me a bit but I got the hang of it quickly

Danny and Josh knocked out Christian and Harley, and Zane did a sneak attack on Cali knocking her out as well

Emma was a hard target to get, but she fell for my hurt ankle trick, and I knocked her out as well

You such a cheat, so is it a crime to care about my friend? She frowned

Yeah girl, don't hate the player hate the game," I said laughing at the top of my lungs

Argh!" Emma let out sounding frustrated

Fine then, all's fair in love and war right, but I'm sure Danny would knock you out and gain justice for me," Emma said making puppy dog eyes at Danny

Sure baby doll, I would seek justice for you," Danny said blowing her a kiss

The game started again and it was only Danny, Josh, Zane and I left

Finding Danny and Josh was difficult as my partner wasn't helping

I moved in and out slowly looking for any sign of them, most especially Danny cause he had a target on my back
