*barges into the room* hello laddies, mates, pals, n rolls of tissue paper
so, in the annoyance section of the chapter title, i've come here to complain about my,,, confusion, really. my sister, from what i've heard and seen with my own ears and eyes, thinks girls are goddesses and boys are just ugly, disgusting, gross creatures. whenever given the opportunity to express her devoted love for the female sex, she does, and in the process of doing so she just downgrades men. and hey, girls are pretty great, and maybe that's just my biased opinion since it is my own gender but you can honestly voice your immense fancy for females without hating on men, you know? my sister's point of view is just her preference, i get it, but my earlier statement stills stands, because you totally can pour your heart n soul about your fondness of girls without just being unnecessarily mean to the opposite gender (i'm sad.) she's a feminist, and feminism in a sense is believing that both sexes are equal, that not one gender is better than the other, but can she really consider herself a feminist when she thinks women are better and superior in every way imaginable compared to men? i'm keenly conscious that men treat/treated women unfairly, and that it's always been time to have appreciation for females; however, it's a new generation - we're the new generation - and we can demolish toxic masculinity, i sincerely believe, if we teach ourselves and our offspring a healthy mindset and good manners. that's just my tea, though.
aNYWAY, wow, what a huge paragraph 👆 the real topic of this chapter folks is pride and prejudice which hereafter i am going to pronounce :')
i'm on- what? chapter 25? yes, i know that i'm being tremendously slow in reading it, considering there's 63 chapters in all, but have mercy on me? please? 'cause i'm a non-committal ass, i juggle reading a lot of books at the same time, which leads to problems like that - it's still an excuse, though. anywho, what the shiz. what the actual shiz. mr collins is just !! ugh !! he has no compassion for my poor nerves for being so annoying !! whenever he speaks, he blabbers so much, and it's a difficulty to read his dialogue and thoroughly understand whatever crap he's producing because it's so dang long !! agh. agh. agh.
moving on. this happened quite some chapters ago but doesn't it just make you melt when darcy smiles. and it's rather weird, i know, but doesn't it make your heart feel warm when he smiles because of elizabeth? awh.
jane austen is spectacular, just sayin', in case you forgot. it was most likely unintentional (since jane is a common name) but isn't it funny how the sweetest, most nicest person in pride and prejudice, jane bennet, shares the same name as austen? now that i think about it, maybe choosing to name the biggest sweetheart in the book after austen's own name was intended, as flattery to herself lmao. i hate myself but ME if i created an extremely nice original character someday 😂
i have more to say but i'm on limited time recess and, sorry, but i'd rather spend my time interacting with my amazing friends than writing about things that most people don't even know/care about lol
