Chapter 40 - Brian, Helena and Roger.

On the same day that the sect was unmasked at Imperial College, everyone was celebrating at the pub that Helena's father is a partner to win over the group of students who were causing danger in the institution.

Helena and Roger were happy to tell everyone how everything happened throughout the day and with the police helped them. Brian was at John's side, about to have his third glass of beer, but his friend stopped him.

"You will not get drunk, Bri," John commented, pushing away his friend's glass, and Brian protested.

"But, Deacy, I want to get drunk, I want to get drunk," Brian said, pulling the glass of beer to himself.

"Dude, I know how much you're suffering from all this, Helena and Roger being together, but, they love each other and I think you should forget Helena. I know how hard it is for you, after all, you like her, but, try to get her out of your heart. I think you should go back with Chrissy, she's in love with you, "John commented.

Brian was looking at Helena and Roger talking cheerfully to Freddie, Mary and Clare, and the guitarist took a sip of his beer.

"I do not know what to do, Deacy," Brian commented. "I miss Rog's friendship, even Lena's friendship, I've suffered from it, I try to get close to them, but I feel betrayed.

"Dude, think hard about what you're going to do, so as not to further undermine the delicate situation you're experiencing," John said, taking his drink.

Brian takes another sip of his beer and Roger looks at the guitarist thoughtfully and sadly. As much as Roger was very happy, being with Helena, he was suffering because his best friend, his heartbroken brother was not talking to him. Helena also looked at Brian sadly.

Brian finished drinking his beer and got up and ran his hand over his face.

"Dude, you're going to be a little light-hearted, it'll do you good," John smiled. "So you'll make the right decisions.

Brian smiled at John as the bassist was right. The guitarist then went to a small garden behind the pub and sat on a bench and was silent, thoughtful, to see if he was acting correctly with Roger and Helena. The guitarist sighed heavily, not knowing what to do. He stared thoughtfully at the floor until he felt someone sitting next to him on the bench. When Brian looked to see who it was, he realized it was Roger, his friend and heartbrother.

"Thinking about life, Bri?" Asked the drummer.

"Thinking about life, about my life and what I've done with it," said the guitarist, looking at his friend and talking to him after a while.

"I'm sorry if I hurt you, even indirectly, Bri, it was never my intention, but it happened. Leninha and I fall in love and we can not have it in our heart, in our feelings and you know that very well, do not you? Roger asked .

"I know it's impossible to tell our feelings, our hearts," Brian said, looking at Roger. "I confess I wish I had hated Helena and you, especially you, but it's impossible, my brother.

Roger looked at him intently and Brian looked at him.

- Rog, we've been talking for a month now and it's my fault, I started all this after all - Brian said looking at the drummer - All because I still have not managed to get Helena out of my heart, but I fight day and night so that that's because I know she loves you and you love her and I feel like I'm cheating on you, Rog. Brian was crying on his friend's shoulders.

"I love you too," said the guitarist, looking at Roger. "I love Helena and I love you too, Rog. And I confess I could not stand talking to them any longer. Starting today, we will be friends again, as we have always been and I will face my heart and my feelings, because Lena and you love each other very much and deserve to be together.

- Lena and I want your friendship, we want you to always be by our side, Bri - said Roger hugged him - And both Lena and I, I repeat we love you very, very much.

Helena approached her boyfriend and friend and saw them hugging, crying. Helena smiled and had tears in her eyes.

- Can I join the hug? - She asked.

"Of course," Brian said, crying.

Then Helena joined the hug with her boyfriend and friend.

Some time passed and Brian decided to give Chrissy another chance and he was doing everything he could to really get Helena out of his heart.
