note: dA. "Sparkling Kisses"
A girl was walking down the street, eyes wide. She was staring at all the Christmas lights put up. So shiny...
"Wah!" She fell onto her butt, having bumped into someone on accident. "I-I'm sorry!" she exclaimed, helping the person pick their stuff up.
"It's okay, aru. I should've been paying attention." He had a Chinese accent.
"No, I should've. It's just, the lights were so distracting and..." the === haired, ----- eyed girl looked up, her eyes meeting with the brown eyes of the male. "You know?" She tilted her head to the side.
"..." He couldn't hold back then. "So cute, aru!" He squealed, glomping the female.
"Wah!" She fell back from her position on her knees, onto her back. "U-uh, sir.. Could you get off of me?" She was blushing.
"Oh, sorry, aru~ You're just too cute~!" He was smiling brightly as he helped her up. After getting the rest of his stuff, he waved and left, murmuring to himself about a party.
"... His eyes. I like them... They were sparkly~" She went home, giggling all the way. And thinking about what she was going to where to her friend's Christmas party.

She, the === haired female, I mean, walked up to the door. She swallowed, being nervous. Though, her nervousness was distracted by the lights strung up. Shiny...
She was wearing a ===== colored dress, with a matching Santa hat.
She finally got undistracted, and knocked on the door, forgetting her nervousness. Then it came back full-force, but it was too late now.
"Huh? Oh! Hey, how's it goin'?" The person that opened the door was her best friend, Alfred. They were close, almost like brother and sister.
"It's going well. What about you? How is it going with you?" She tilted her head to the side.
"Well, sis, it's goin' good! Now, come on in. I don't want you getting a cold this close to Christmas!" He ushered her in, closing the door behind her.
She immediately started wandering around, staring at everything, and from time-to-time, talking to people. Francis didn't hit on her, like he did with almost everyone. He treated her like she was his daughter (surprising?), and gave her a family-like hug, saying "Merry Christmas~" and patting her head.
She had smiled at him, returning the statement before walking off and staring at everything shiny and sparkly and all that stuff.
"Oh!" She bumped into someone for the second time that night. "I-I'm sorry-" She started, and, upon looking up slightly, seen it was the same person. "Oh, it's you again~ I'm sorry, sir. The lights and all... again." Her cheeks burned red as a nervous chuckle escaped her mouth.
"Ah, it's okay, aru~ But, I have to ask you something."
"Yeah?"
"Do you know what a mistletoe is, aru?"
"Those thingies you hang up around your house?" A nod. "Yeah, why?"
"Do you know what the rules of them are?"
"If you get stuck under one with someone else, you both have to kiss. Why?" She had asked again.
"Look up, aru." The male's cheeks had tinted pink.
She looked up, and the Christmas-y plant was just hanging there innocently. She blushed more.

They both slowly leaned in. The female's cheeks were a dark red, whilst the male's cheeks were pink. But their eyes were both the same: they were both shining.
Their lips locked together, and they both felt a shock of electricity. Though neither pulled away until they needed air. And after a few seconds, they, in fact pulled away.
The male stood back up straight, staring down at the female. The female stared right back.
Clap.
It was a single sound, that quickly escalated into estatic clapping and wolf-whistling.
They both had a darker blush on their cheeks right then. They both forgot they were at a party.
"My name's Yao, aru," the male said quietly. Both he and the female went slipped away into a different room, not liking how loud it was.
"Hm? Oh! Sorry, it's just this room... It's sparkly and all." She grinned sheepishly. "My name's _____." Her smile turned into a bright grin.
Yao smiled back, slowly slipping his arm around her. _____ didn't mind, though. She snuggled into him, liking how warm he was. "Merry early Christmas, then, _____, aru."
"Merry early Christmas, Yao." She turned her head, looking up at Yao, and kissed his cheek. They shared a loving smile.
