note: i have no idea what age Clemont is. the thing i read said that he was about the same age as Ash, which a lot of people say is about fourteen or fifteen. so they both will be fourteen, and you will be a trainer that's just gotten your fourth gym badge in Kalos, but has already went through Unova (and chilled for a bit at home to collect money and spend time with friends before leaving for Kalos). so in this you're exactly fourteen- this happens the day of your birthday.
"Look, Chess! We finally made it!" a small girl yelled. She had a happy look on her face.
Her Chesnaught let out his own cheer, picking the girl up and spinning around with her in joy.
She grabbed his paw, and together they ran up to the gym doors.
"How many gym badges do you have?" a robotic voice asked.
"After this, I'll definitely have five!" the small girl exclaimed. There seemed to be arguing on the other side, between the robot-voice and a human- er, a few humans voices.
The door opened, and standing there were four people and a robot. The black/brown haired male's eyes lit up.
"What's that Pokemon?!" he asked excitedly, running up to the small girl and her Pokemon.
"Ehehe! It's Chesnaught!" the girl said, looking up at the burly Pokemon. "He's the best Pokemon there is!" She turned back to the boy, a large grin on her face. "My name is (fullname)! Chesnaught's my current Poke-partner, and I'm a Grass-Type trainer! Born and raised in Unova." She gave him a cheeky grin. "Who're you?"
The guy gave a grin. "My name's Ash Ketchum, and my partner for always is Pikachu! I'm gonna be the best trainer in the entire world! I was born in Pallet Town." He returned the grin. "I'd like to battle you!"
_____ grinned. "Only after I get my fifth badge! Then I know that I'll be ready for anything! Even beating Trevs to completing the Pokedex!"
Ash laughed. "Can I register your Chesnaught into mine?" When _____ nodded, he pulled out his Pokedex.
The female motioned for her Pokemon to follow when Ash was done, and jogged over to the other three humans and the robot.
"I'm sorry about Ash," the blonde male of the group said, "and Clembot." He gave a nervous laugh as he scratched the back of his head. "My name is Clemont, and I'm the Lumiose City gym leader! So I believe that I'll have the honor of battling a pretty lady like you?"
_____ blushed, letting a tiny grin form on her face. "Nah, let's leave it at you having the honor of battling the best trainer ever." She looked over her shoulder at Ash, flashing him a smirk.
"We'll see about that," he replied, copying her smirk.
Clemont chuckled. His face turned red as the smaller blonde pulled him down, whispering something into his ear. "Bonnie!" he hissed quietly, face resembling a Charmander's tail flame.
The girl- Bonnie- started laughing as she quietly explained to the oldest girl what she said. The oldest girl laughed along with the blonde as Clemont just...stood there, looking embarrassed.
_____ tilted her head to the side. It was almost like she was hit with Confuse Ray.
"S-so! Should we go and start the battle?" Clemont asked. _____ smiled, turning around and whistling to Chesnaught.
The Pokemon grinned, walking over and picking the girl up. She squealed slightly, giggles rising from her chest._____ grinned. She and Chesnaught were sitting on a bench each with a disposable cup of hot cocoa. A small birthday cake was sitting in between them, and the Tower in front of them was lit up. She could feel the slight weight her fifth badge gave her badge case, and that grin grew softer, until it was a smile.
Chesnaught nudged her, giving her a grin. He stuck his tongue out before motioning towards the tower.
_____ blushed, shaking her head. "I don't like Clemont! I-I mean I do like him, but...n-not like that!" she mumbled, placing the rim of her cup to her lips.
Chesnaught motioned again, before rolling his eyes and standing up. He finished the rest of his cocoa, recycling the cup and walking to the tower.
The small girl gave her Pokemon a confused look, but another bright blush lit her face when she seen that he had Clemont in his hands.
"Chess! That's really rude, y'know!" she squeaked. The burly Pokemon gave her a grin before returning to his Pokeball."I- uhm... Hi," Clemont said, nudging his glasses up. "You never told me that it was your birthday..." The sentence walked into nothing as he glanced down at the barely-touched cake that was now in between himself and _____.
The girl gave a small, nervous grin. "Well, you...never asked, and we just met today, so..."
They both shared an awkward laugh. "I still think that I should give you a present. B-but it might benefit me more...o-or Bonnie..." he whispered the last sentence, barely even speaking the last two words.
"Just staying here is okay," she replied. "Would you, uhm...like some cake? Or cocoa? I, kind of only have my cup, but I'm okay with sharing...!" Her blush was resembling a stain by now.
Clemont nodded, and they passed about an hour and a half just talking quietly, finishing the cake and sipping the cocoa.
"I-I gotta go. When are you leaving tomorrow?" Clemont asked. He was planning on traveling with Ash- and the reckless trainer wanted to leave around nine in the morning.
"I'm leaving at eight-thirty," was the quiet reply. Clemont's heart stopped for a second. "But I'm gonna get up at six to make sure that I'm all packed up! Maybe, we can spend some time in between then...?" The blonde's eyes sparkled.
"Yes! I-I mean, yeah, of course we can," he replied. A red streak crossed over his face.
_____ flashed him a grin, her cheeks being tinted a light pink. "Well, uhm...meet me here at six-forty-five?" she asked. Clemont nodded.
He froze up for a second. His tongue flicked across his lips before he leaned forward, locking his lips with _____'s. The blonde pulled back after a second, jumping up and waving his goodbye. A smile danced on his lips as he replayed the smile that had formed on the female's face before he fully turned around. The next morning, Clemont made sure that _____ felt more than special could ever be. He got her Holo number*, and he gave her a friendship ring that had a shiny emerald in the center, signaling her being a Grass-Type trainer. A lightening bolt was carved beside the gem. Clemont's was the opposite- he has a topaz, and a leaf was carved next to it.
Of course, he gave it to her in the way of proposal. However, he made sure that Bonnie wasn't around- and that he was at the top of Prism Tower. Ash got his battle, too. As _____ said, she was planning to be the best trainer- and Ash could say that she was definitely on her way.
Needless to say, when everyone was a few years older, Bonnie got her wish of her brother getting married.
