"Why should I?!"
"Because you almost got BonBon hit by Pikachu's Thunderbolt, you ass!"
"It's not my fault that Pikachu used Thunderbolt!!"
Clemont pinched the bridge of his nose as Serena held Bonnie close to her. Serena was making sure that she and the small blonde were out of range of the two currently-arguing trainers— that being a (h/c)-haired female and a black-haired male.
Standing behind the female was a Sceptile, who was holding both of her arms, already knowing that the girl wanted to bring fists into the argument instead of staying passive.
A Pikachu was standing in front of the male, keeping a hold on his leg, though it wouldn't do much if it came to a physical fight.
"Well it is your fault for not being responsible!!"
"I might not be responsible but at least I'm not a complete bitch!!"
"At least I try to think about what other people want to do!!"
"At least I'm a good trainer!!"
Clemont's heart slowed down, his grey eyes widening and moving between Ash and _____. The girl had gone slack in her Pokemon's arms, while the Pikachu had taken a few steps away from its trainer. Everyone seemed to be in a state of shock, except for the male who had made the statement."Well if you're such a good trainer, then I guess I'm not needed here anymore."
Clemont's eyes slowly moved towards _____, who had straightened her posture and tried to make herself look taller than she was.
"No, _____, he didn't mean it like that," Serena said, staring at the girl with a slight panic in her eyes.
"That's exactly how he meant it and you know it." The girl pulled a Pokeball off of her belt, and out came her Fletchinder — evolved from the Fletchling that Ash had helped her catch. Sceptile was brought back into his own ball as the girl hopped onto the large bird's back. "I'm going home."
"What, back to Hoenn where you shouldn't have left? Back to Wally, and Max and May? They probably don't even remember you anymore, and if they do they're probably pissed that you left them. You didn't have a good reason to leave, did you? Is that even your home anymore?"
"Ash!" Clemont yelled, eyes widening more from the current statement than what had been said previously.
"It's true!"
"What about you and your home then, huh? When have you been back to Pallet Town? When have you thought that you should go back to visit Brock and Misty? I battled them after I went through Hoenn. I went to Kanto, then through Johto. They were by my side at that time, you know? Talking about how they wished you would just send them a message, but it seems the only person there you care for is Professor Oak. You haven't even called your mom, have you?"
"I've been busy, okay?! What about you and your parents? Ever think they missed you?"
"My parents are dead, Ash. They died two months ago; why do you think I left without giving a reason? It was to attend a funeral; and before you say anything, my friends were there. They just sat there, okay? They didn't want to make me any more upset than I was." The girl wanted to cry, and it was obvious.
The others in the group were shocked, to say the least. Even the male who started the harsh exchange.
"Goodbye. I don't know about the others, but Ash... We aren't friends anymore." And with that, she was off.f me in the a bc ive decided to make this its own thing. figure this as a preview a sorts bc its gonna be slow af and its not gonna seem like a clemont thing but its gonna test my writin skills and its gonna be a clemont thing bc who doesnt want to visit hoenn then go back through the regions to get away from that one bithc ash
