note: i will call all of the Death Note characters by the manga names that i remember (yknow, before they changed. so "Light" is "Raito," and "Ryuk" is "Ryuuku."
"Ryuuku, why are you staring at that girl all the time?" Raito spoke in a quiet voice as he stared at the Shinigami.
"She's very...interesting," replied the Death God. "I know that you can't see, but her lifespan is blurred."
"That means...?" The brunette(?) raised an eyebrow.
"She can live even if her name is written in the Death Note."
"Hm...that is interesting... Well, why don't we just meet her?" The human chuckled as he stood up from his spot on the bench, striding over in a confident manner.
"Hi!" she said, turning around to face the two. Raito blinked; had she known they were coming?
"Hello," the charming male replied. A smile formed on his lips. "My name is Yagami Raito. You are?"
"A better person than you." She gave him a playful grin as she turned her eyes towards Ryuuku. "You are?"
This shocked both gods. The God of Death replied quickly and simply. "My name's Ryuuku."
She giggled, letting a tiny blush form on her face.
Is she playing the innocent or the mischievous? the two asked themselves, though both were worded differently.
"Both!" she exclaimed. She blew a kiss towards Ryuuku, giving him a more flirtatious-type wink. Turning to Raito, the female just giggled before a tiny smile formed on her face. "Watch yourself, Raichu- Raito!"
The girl turned, starting to walk towards the street. She looked as if she didn't notice the car driving at top-speed, but...
...the car took a sharp swerve hitting the truck beside it and flipping over the girl. She turned back to the two that were now across the street, giving them both an innocently sick smile.
"Her name is (fulln)," Ryuuku said suddenly. "It suits her."
Raito nodded in agreement. "She definitely likes you."
"Shut up and buy me apples."
