Whenever we got finished packing it was about 1 AM. At least now we have graduated and don't have to worry about being in bed at a certain time. I let Jack go to sleep at about 12 AM because he was too tired to function. He kept falling over and eventually I asked him if he was okay and he was just super tired so I laid him down in my bed and took off his shoes. He fell asleep within five minutes. After I had all of my suitcases packed and ready, I went to sleep with Jack.

JACK'S POV

I woke up at 10 AM with Y/N beside me. I got up, trying not to make the bed shake too much because I don't know what time she went to bed, so I wanted to let her sleep in. As I was walking out the door Y/N woke up and said "Jack?"

"Yeah...?"

"What are you doing awake? It's like 8 AM."

"Y/N. It's 10 o'clock."

"Oh," she said, checking her phone.

"What time did you go to bed last night?"

She got up from the bed and hugged me, not letting go. "Around one." She said, looking up at me, still not letting go.

She pulled away and walked out of her bedroom. I followed her into the kitchen where her mom and dad were sitting at the table. "Hey sleepy-heads." Mrs. Y/L/N gushed.

"Morning Mr and Mrs. Y/L/N." I said, grabbing the milk while Y/N got the cereal.

"Oh, Jack. We've only known you your whole life, you can call us Adam and Candace."

"Okay! Good morning, M-- Adam and Candace," I said with a smile.

"Good morning, Jack." Candace smiled.

Mr--Adam glared at me the entire time we were making our cereal. Honestly, it was creeping me out.

"I cannot believe you guys graduated high school, y'all make me wanna cry!"Candace fanned her face, trying to keep the tears in.

"Ugh! Moommmm...." Y/N put her forehead in her palm. Everyone but Y/N and Adam laughed.

"So, are you gonna tell them about the tour?" I whispered into Y/N's ear.

"Oh right!"

"Okay. Mom? Dad?"

"Yeahhh....?" Candace seemed scared.

"We need to talk."

"Oh my gosh! You're not pregnant, right?!?"

"NO! GOD NO!"

"Oh good," Candace relievingly said.

"Okay, so you remember Johnson, right? Jack Johnson?"

"Your's and Jack's best friend since kindergarten who never comes over anymore?"

"Yep, that's the one." I say with a light laugh.

"Well, G and J made it big, and they're going on tour!" Y/N gushed, looking over at me.

"WOW! Nice job Jack!!" Candace reached out her hand for a high five and I gave it to her.

"What's the catch?" Adam demanded, glaring at me. I thought he liked me. Meh. It doesn't matter. I like Y/N and Y/N likes me. We don't need her father's approval.

"Wellll...... They want me to come with them."

"No--"

"And I don't care if you say yes or not because I am a legal adult who can make her own decisions!"

"You're not going." Adam said simply.

"Yes! I am!"

"I AM YOUR FATHER!"

"I AM AN ADULT!" She yelled, storming out of the kitchen and up the stairs.

A few seconds later I got up from my seat. "Sorry..." I said before taking off to the stairs. I thought she would go to her room, but I guess not. She was just sitting on the stairs leaned up against the railing.

Y/N'S POV

"I AM AN ADULT!" I yelled, storming out of the kitchen and onto the stairs.

A few seconds later, Jack comes onto the stairs and sits by me. "Hi..." He sympathizes.

"Hey..."

"I'm sorry. This was all my fault. I never should have--"

I grabbed his face, interrupting him. "It's not your fault, Jack. And I'm still going on tour. I love you."

A huge smile plastered across his face. "I love you, too."

ADAM'S POV

As soon as Jack left the room I walked up to the door and listened to their conversation.

"Hi..." He sympathized.

"Hey..." Y/N wasn't happy with me, but I just couldn't stand the fact of my little girl leaving for months at a time.

"I'm sorry. This was all my fault. I never should have--"

She interrupted him by saying, "It's not your fault, Jack. And I'm still going on tour. I love you."

"I love you, too."

I looked back at Candace who was sipping her coffee. "They love each other." I sighed, sitting down.

"Adam, you're the one that wanted them to date! What is the sudden problem with Jack?"

"I don't know... Just dad instincts. I'm used to all of these guys that have broken her heart and now he's here and I've seen him break so many girls' hearts. Like Madison."

"Madison broke up with him!"

"Whatever! My point is, I don't want her to get hurt again."

Y/N walks in the door with Jack behind her, locking hands.

"Dad. I am going on tour."

I shook my head and scoffed.

"DAD! I am an adult now, I can make my own decisions."

"Fine! Make your own decisions, but this one's mine!"

She ran out of the door, letting go of Jack's hand. He was about to go after her when I said, "Jack wait!"
