—one month later—

It was mine and Jack's one year anniversary today. I'm so, so excited!! I can't believe we've been together for a year. Never in a million stars would I believe that Jack and I would get this far as a couple. I mean, one year! Gah, I've spent almost every day with Jack for 365 days... that's crazy...

JACK'S POV

I woke up the morning of April 23 at 6 AM to make a breakfast for Y/N and get everything ready for later on. I was planning to take her to a cute little restaurant downtown. She doesn't like fancy, but I try my hardest. What I have planned tonight is something she probably would never have even thought of...

Y/N's POV
I woke up to the smell of bacon. I had slept over at Jack's last night so that we could start our anniversary off together, but he wasn't in the bed when I woke up. I got out of the bed and followed the smell of bacon, leading me into the kitchen where Jack was cooking. He was standing in front of the stove dancing in place and singing along to the music. I walk up to him and hug him from behind. "Good morning, love." He greets.

"Good morning," I smile.

When he got done cooking, he made us both plates and drizzled chocolate syrup on mine. The syrup was made into words that read: "Happy Anniversary :)"

"Awe!" I smile.

Jack smiled really big and looks up at me.

A few minutes later, Molly walks into the kitchen wearing sweatpants and a hoodie with her hair in a messy bun. "Hey, dorks." She says seriously.

"Yo." Jack smiles. Molly grabs the milk out of the fridge and gets the cereal out of the cabinet. She pours her cereal and drowns it in milk. She walks over to the table and starts eating.

"Oh, and happy anniversary." She says, her mouth full of food.

"Gee, thanks..." Jack and I laugh.

—4 pm—

Tonight Jack was taking me to a new restaurant downtown, and had made reservations for 6 pm. He said he had some other things planned, but he didn't tell me what those other things were.
