They got to the amusement park quite quickly. They engaged in small talk and joked around while on their way. Tweek managed to calm down and completely relax, Craig's calm demeanor helped him greatly."Aand here we are. Let's find a parking place." Craig sighed. After five mins of searching and laughing at people stealing spots, they finally managed to park the car.
They bought the tickets and split the bill, they were both determined to pay so 50-50 seemed logical. While walking inside the huge park, Tweek started to feel a bit nervous. All the rides, arcades and the enormous ferris wheel.. they made his head spin.
"Holy shit.. this place is big!" Tweek exclaimed. He looked around once again, digesting the thought of riding all the rides.
"Yup. I love this place, the boys and me come here sometimes and I figured you would like it here too." Craig said. He pushed Tweek lightly with his right hand and started walking. Craig kept his hand on Tweek's shoulder to help him relax. Tweek snuggled closer to him and they walked like that for quite some time.
"What's your favourite ride?" Tweek looked up at Craig. He looked down at him. Their faces were close.
"Hmm.. I think I like The Mammut the best. It's spooky." He replied. Tweek snorted at the way Craig said 'spooky'. He always found that word hilarious.
"Can we start with something not so spooky?" Tweek smiled.
"Yeah, sure. How about the free-falling thingy? There's a smaller one."
Tweek gulped. "Uuh, okay." He blushed from embarrassment. He can't chicken out.
"You sure?" Craig grinned.
"Y-yes!" Tweek stuttered. Craig laughed loudly.
"Okay~"
They went onto the free-falling ride and then tried the rest of the rollercoaters and haunted houses until they were starving. Craig bought them cheeseburgers and coke, he didn't allow Tweek to pay anymore, saying: 'I earn more than you so shut up.'
Next, they played some arcade games. They both sucked really bad, but kept laughing like hell so it was worth it. Craig managed to get two fluffy baby seal charms for both of them so they didn't leave empty-handed.
It was about 9PM when Craig took Tweek's hand and dragged him to the ferris wheel. The sky way clear and all the stars were visible. When they went up slowly, Craig started bragging about the stars and some interesting things about the universe.
".. and if you look there and concentrate for a bit, you can actually make out the Milky Way." Craig pointed to the sky above them, truly adoring their surroundings.
"Woah, you're right." Tweek said. He was phased by Craig's knowledge. He knew so much stuff even while being a drop-out. This reminded him:
"Why did you leave school so early?"
Craig sighed deeply. "Well.. my father died in a work accident. We needed the money, my mother and my sister are my only family." He glanced up at the stars again. "When I managed to become a boss, I saved enough money to move out. My sister started working too so we try to help mom as much as we can. I still send 20% of my earnings to her bank account to this day.. just to be sure she's fine." He finished. He got a bit emotional at the end but all Tweek could see that Craig was a very kind guy. Almost.. perfect in his eyes.
"Wow.. that's so generous of you. She must be happy to have such a great son like you.." Tweek smiled. He was truly impressed by him.
"I hope so." Craig glanced at Tweek and shot a small smile too. "But enough of me. You said you wanted to be an Engineer?"
