The next morning Robin woke up early. 6:45 am, his phone showed. Prudence still did not respond to his text and didn't come back either. Robin's school was closed for the day, so he decided to finish reading Prudence's diary before she returned.

Dear Amore,

God damn. It's been more than a month since I've been able to write. Every time I sit down to write, my parents are always like: Prudence put your pen down! Or: Prudence get off your chair and do some proper shit! Anything I do isn't "proper shit". I sit down to play video games, my dad tells me to put down my controller. I grab my cell phone (yeah I have a crappy android from 2010) to text a few people, they tell me to get off. Whenever I hear "get off the phone" from my mum or dad, I want to kill them. I freaking hate it when they tell me that, I can't even send a text message to anybody when they're around. Why do I need this cell phone then if I can't go near it? Stupid parents, always trying to control you. Honestly, I have no idea what they want from me. I'm not touching or bothering anybody when I'm playing my NES or writing, but when my dad starts intercepting my spare time, I fill with resentment. That makes my dad even angrier, he starts asking me interrogations that are unintelligent as hell. Are you retarded? Are you sick? What the hell is wrong with you? That's all I hear from him all day. And whenever I tell him to shut up for god's sake or leave me alone, he gets worse. He would threaten to lock me in my room and not let me out until he decides to or kicks me outside.

Whenever those two decide to get on my nerves, I run out the door and go to Joshik's place. Wladek, his dad has a job here until summer 2017, he works as a car programmer at Ford. All I know is that he brings quite an abundance of money to his family. Joshik has a large family, his mum Agata and five siblings: Agnieszka, seventeen years, Joshik himself, Aleksy, twelve years, Bogdan, ten years, Zarek, eight years, and the youngest Henryka, she is only four. They truly are a great family, they accept me every time I come into their house. They have a capacious two-story house, but unfortunately, I can't spend the whole time on my own with Joshik because he shares his bedroom with his younger brother. We are lucky because Aleksy is respectful to personal space, so if we don't want him in the bedroom, he doesn't go in. However it's his room too, so we can't keep him out the whole time. I usually spend up to three hours there, until his parents tell me that they have plans and I must leave. I can't really act up there because if I do, I will never be allowed in Joshik's house anymore. It makes me control myself because Joshik's house is really the only place I can go to other than my own apartment. When I leave I buy myself four liters of Sprite and drink it, and I usually get home really late, sometimes even three o'clock in the morning. The great thing about it is that my parents never even notice that I return home at that time, they think they're scary enough that I'll get scared and get home on my own before nine o'clock pm. Hell no, Palutena and Dick Cardwells. I can go home whenever I want. And I can eat and drink what I want. Two liters of Sprite and a huge bag of Doritos is basically my meal for the day. That's why I'm so skinny. I have to go now, I'll return later, my love, I promise. <3

So she even came home after midnight and her parents didn't care about that...wasn't she afraid of getting kidnapped or raped? I'm surprised nothing happened to her. Even I never came home that late, I come home always before midnight, thought Robin and started getting dressed. He went into the kitchen and made himself a cup of espresso coffee. While his coffee and toast were warming up, he started thinking about what it would be like to live with Prudence's parents. Robin was an orphan. His parents got killed in a car accident two and a half years ago. His dad died right away, his mom passed on the way to the hospital. After the Lansing couple passed to the other world, Robin's grandfather raised him, however his brain got infected and had to stay in the hospital full time. Currently, Robin lived on his own. He knew how to drive and had a job at KFC, McDonald's and walked dogs sometimes. Robin did this because he didn't want to end up in the foster care. His only goal was to graduate school, even without the best grades, to get some kind of job to survive in this world. Donald Lansing, Robin's older brother just graduated from Eastern Michigan University and moved to Grand Rapids. If his brother succeeded, then he could do it too. Robin refused to give up. If he would find Prudence, he would help her. She hasn't been in school for more than a year. There's no way she'd get that diploma. But she wasn't here right now, and only God knows when she's going to come back, so Robin just grabbed his breakfast and continued reading:
