     Being the ultimate assistant was a complex task. It meant that you had to adapt to whatever environment you were thrown into, complete any task, and become jack of all trades. Of course, with such an ability, you were in constant demand with your classmates. You had done so many different things to help out your classmates. You couldn't name a classmate you hadn't worked with, but you were most constantly in demand with the forbidden one himself, Gundham Tanaka.

     You're almost sure that by now you had enough qualifications to become a veterinary nurse, with the amount of time's you've helped Gundham taking care of his animals, but you were happy being an assistant, getting to do so many things was a blessing for you.

     "Y/N!" Souda cheered, rushing over to you in the courtyard of Hope's Peak Academy. You turned and smiled at him politely, nodding your head at him.

       "Hey, Souda." You smiled happily, and his pink eyes were sparkling. "How can I help you?"

      "You know me so well! I've got this rare new bike come in the workshop, I want you to help me out with it!" He grinned widely, and you returned the smile.

     "I'm honoured you chose me to help you with such-"

      "She will be unavailable," A deep, baretone voice cut you off, and you jumped lightly in surprise when a bandaged hand lightly held your shoulder. Of course, you turned to see none other than Gundham Tanaka. He never was very agreeable when it came to you working with others.

      "What-?" Souda was cut off again.

     "I shall be using her services. She will be unavailable." Gundham repeated, and if you had been Souda, you would've shivered in fear.

     "Aha... Ha..." You laughed awkwardly to try and diffuse the tension. "Once I've finished with Gundham, I'll come around the workshop, how does that sound?"

    You decided to compromise, and while Gundham's face remained stoic and obviously aggravated, Souda's face lit up with a wide grin.

     "Great! Thanks miss Y/N!" Souda cheered and nodded happily before running off.

     "I'll see you later, Gundham," You turned and smiled at it. He looked at your carefully for a moment before nodding.

     "I will see you after school,"

     You knocked on Gundham's door politely as usual, even though he purposely left his door unlocked for you to come right in when you arrived. Old habits die hard. He greeted you politely, as always, giving you a small lecture for waiting at his door again, before you launched into the tasks, running through their care routine with Gundham, making light work of the somewhat tedious tasks.

      "Is that all I can help you with?" You asked with a smile, as you did every day. However, he did not immediately launch into his lecture as he would have done normally.

     "... You will be away to Souda's workshop now, yes...?" He asked quietly and you nodded. This was unusual, he didn't even answer your question with his usual lecture about how you should have more of a mind of your own.

     "Er- yes." You nodded in confusion. Why would that matter to him? "I said I would, I would imagine that if I don't come to the workshop soon, then he'll come here looking for me-"

      However, you could barely finish your sentence before you found your back against the by the front door. Your eyes were wide in shock, and you slowly focussed in on Gundham, who had an arm against the wall by your head, stooping his head to your height, intense bicolour eyes searching yours.
