CHAPTER 39: Asking Them

A/N: Hello! I'm really sorry for putting this on hiatus for almost a year without any announcement. Writer's block lang talaga at sobrang busy sa working life ko. Two more chapters na lang po ito actually pero dahil ayokong magsulat ng padalos dalos, nagstop na muna ako at ngayon lang bumalik dahil my inspiration na ako para magsulat :D

Anyway, thank you sa much for all the support and votes for this story at sa iba ko pang story! Sobrang nakakataba ng puso! Sana magustuhan niyo itong comeback chapter ko.

"Nakikinig ka ba Eros?"

Napatingin ako sa Dad ko na ngayon ay may nakakalokong ngiti. Inayos ko naman ang sarili ko at pinilit kong huwag ikutan ng mata si Dad. Pati mannerism ni Jaq, nakukuha ko na. Nahuli kasi niya akong nakatingin sa labas ng bintana kung nasaan si Jaquelyn na tumutulong magluto ng tanghalian para sa lahat ng nandito sa Academy. "I know Dad. Ilang beses mo na yan pinaalala sa akin."

"I'm just reminding you. She's your mate so it's natural she will go home with you and be the Luna of the pack after the Alpha Ceremony" Dad took a step towards me and put his right hand on my right shoulder and gave me a soft squeezed "I'm proud of you, Eros."

"Thanks," hindi ko matago ang ngiti nang sabihin sa akin ni Dad yun. Huling beses na narinig ko siyang proud sa akin ay...hindi ko na maalala.

After the talk I had with Dad, he left to go and check our pack. Almost two months had passed but the damage still remains. Even though the higher-ups decided to resume the classes after October, in reality, we still don't know if anyone would want to come back to this Academy. Maybe some will but most of them will probably choose to stop for a year or two before coming back. Parents will not risk their children's safetiness especially that some of our enemies are still out there.

Edward is dead but there are still a lot of rogues and vampires out there.

But the thing that we can't let our guards down are the Beasts. They are not the same with vampires and rogues that are out for blood and chaos. Beasts are werewolves who chose to betray their packs and family members because they were hurt and mistreated by us. Who knows what they can do. They are much more unpredictable than regular rogues or vampires.

"Eros!" I was pulled out of my thoughts by none other than my Mate's voice "Tulungan mo kaya kami dito, diba?" with a bossy attitude and raised eyebrows pinakita niya sa akin ang mga dala dala nilang mga pagkain.

I just smiled at her and jump out of the window and walked towards her and her friends "Stop bossing around an Alpha, Jaq" ginulo ko ang kanyang buhok sabay ngisi bago ko inagaw sa braso niya ang dala dala niyang supot ng mga bote ng tubig sa kamay. Inayos naman niya ang dala dala niyang tray ng pagkain.

"Sumunod ka rin naman," ngisi naman ni Sky na nilampasan kami.

"Good Boy!" sigaw naman ni Ces pero bago pa ako makareact mabilis na lumayo ang mga kaibigan ni Jaq na ang lalakas ng mga tawa. All I can do was growled at them warningly.

"Hey, stop that," I felt my mate's soft slap on my arms "Binibiro ka lang nila" depensa niya habang naglalakad kami.

"I only accept your jokes, not theirs," I annoyingly answered.
