Jesse's POV

It's was Saturday night and we we're setting up for our show. I was nervous as hell.

I still hadn't told Lana I loved her but I was going to do it tonight. Also this is going to be one of the most important shows we've ever done. A guy from a record company is here to watch us. We could get a record deal.

I'm tuning my guitar, when Lana walks over to me. She's so beautiful.

Her light brown hair cascades down her back in loose curls and she has no make up on. She's wearing a knee length white sundress with a blue jean jacket and he white converse. She smiles at me and kisses my cheek.

"Hey babe." she says. I smile and kiss her lips. "Are you nervous?" she asks.

"I've never been more nervous in my life. What about you?"

"I'm trying not to think about it." She bites her lip. God she drives me crazy when she does that.

"We'll do fine."

She sighs and begins sound check.

I love her so much. I can't even put into words the way she makes me feel. I wanted to wait to tell but I can't anymore. It's a secret to big to keep.

We still haven't had sex yet. Every time she's in the mood or brings it up, I always tell her no.

She questioned me at first, saying that she's knows I want this jut as much as she does but I wanted to wait. I kept telling her it didn't feel right and that I wanted to wait for the right moment. I wanted to wait until I told her I loved her and she said it back.

Chris plays a few notes and looks at me. I do the same and look at Hannah. She hits every drum a few times and looks at Lana. Lana smiles and we begin.

"How is everyone tonight?" she says. There's lots whoops and screams heard. "Okay well I'm Lana. This is Chris on bass, Jesse on guitar and Hannah on drums."

Everyone claps and cheers. I hand my guitar to Chris and walk to the mic next to Lana's.

"The first song we'll be singing tonight is called "Be My Forever,"" I say into the mic. "this song is originally preformed by Christina Perri and Ed Sheeran."

Hannah begins the song and we clap along with her until Lana begins to sing.

"We're on top of the world. We're on top of the world now darlin' so don't let go..." The lyrics come from her mouth so smoothly.

I remember the first show she sang with us. She was so nervous. Her voice and her body was shaking. The crowd went nuts over her though.

Once the song ends, we give the crowd a minute to applaud and cheer while we get set for the next song.

"Okay I would like to dedicate this next song to my wonderful girlfriend Lana." I say into the mic. She takes a seat on a bar stool and smiles at me.

Chris starts out on the guitar and I begin to sing.

"Am I asleep, am I awake, or somewhere in between?

I can't believe that you are here and lying next to me

Or did I dream that we were perfectly entwined?

Like branches on a tree, or twigs caught on a vine?

Like all those days and weeks and months I tried to steal a kiss
