Today was a bittersweet day. My last day on set.
Ironically, the last scene I would shoot for this movie was a scene in the middle of the movie. Confusing, I know.
My signature purple hair was in two Dutch braids and my usual natural makeup. I wore a long, sleeveless denim shirt and galaxy leggings. Without a doubt, this was my favourite costume of the film. My feet were killing me from wearing heeled boots all the time, so Jon allowed me to go barefoot for this scene. Which made sense since we were in my house. Well, Anna Maria's house.

I walked onto the set which consisted of a dinner table with six chairs around it in a dining room area. The plates were already on the table and the food was steaming of them. Huh, never realised they used real food.
The scene was in Anna Maria Marconi's house (aka me) and Peter and Ned came over to my house the night after I saved Peter from drowning in the lake. We were going to track the Vulture's Crew in my workshop downstairs in the basement, but in the scene before, my mother and aunt had insisted on giving us dinner first.
My lovely Mexican mother was played by Salam Hayek, and my crazy Mexican aunt was played by THE Penélope Cruz (in the picture). Those two women were crazy and extravagant but I love them for it and they really welcomed me when we first met.
Tom and Jacob were already sat at the table on their chairs and I was directed to my seat. I smiled at the boys as I sat down.
"Hi guys," I said. "Last day, how exciting!"
"Aww, we're gonna miss you, Ellen," Jacob frowned.
I leaned over and put my hand on his arm. "Don't worry, I'll be calling you six times a day and I expect daily snapchats."
He laughed at my joke. "Deal. I can do that."
"How much longer do you have?" I asked the boys.
"We're gonna be filming well into next month," Tom said, moving the food around the plate with his fork.
