Adding the finishing touches to her wardrobe, cyn looked at herself in the tiny mirror that was in her bungalow. She was wearing a traditional indian sari, green that really popped.
Finally she put on her earrings and was ready to go. They would have to drive to the village just down the road.
John came in the bungalow, upon seeing her john couldn't look away. She truly looked stunning and even john couldn't deny it. "You look um.. Good.. cyn." He said hesitating.
Cyn just looked at him, unable to even say thank you. "Ya ok lets just go." She said taking her small clutch that matched her sari.
Getting into the car, she wondered why john was even going with her, this whole trip he had been ignoring her, practically treated her like a stranger. Perhaps he was just doing it for riya, knowing she was a big fan.
Staring out the window she had no desire to be in this car right now.
"So is umm your friend.. Riya he said trying to remember her name, Excited ?" he asked trying to get rid of the silence.
"I suppose so," cyn said still staring out the window.
"I've never been to an indian wedding this will be a first," he said.
Cyn said nothing, looking down at her hands.
Playing with them she tried to distract herself.
"But can two people really be married?" john asked, i mean to one person forever christ john remarked.
"Two people who really love each other can" cyn said remarking at him fully looking at him.
"Ya like us right" john said bitterly.
Cyn just laughed angirly, "yes exactly like us, except for the part that the husband in question actually loves his wife." She remarked.
"What are you on about" john said staring at her.
Finally arriving at the wedding the car stopped with cyn being the first one to get out, but before she stepped out of the car she knew she had to tell him.
"Oh just the fact that your in love with yoko and are going to leave me and julian for her" she said.
Slamming the door angrily john was stunned he couldn't move.
"Mr. lennon are you getting out the driver asked.
"Yes" john said clearly shocked.
Getting out he tried to look for cyn to explain everything. And yet she was gone into the crowd.
