Finally waking up john realized he had overslept. He had missed worship and hoped breakfast still isn't over. Staying up all night proved to be more of a problem than he thought it would be.
Quickly getting dressed and brushing his teeth, he ran to breakfast. Thankfully the gang was still eating.
He didn't see cyn at the table though.
She is probably with her new friends john thought.
As he approached the table he noticed the gangs faces were a little less happy than they usually were.
"Hello, Hello" john said sitting down.
"Hey john, hi john." Everyone mumbed, not really looking him directly in the eye.
"What's with you lot, did you kids do something naughty" john asked jokingly.
They didn't respond and just looked guilty as ever.
"Alright, what the hell is going on, you look as though you know something bloody important i don't know." John said annoyed.
The girls just looked down, while george and paul nodded at each other having an agreement without words to tell john.
"John, mate, we are gonna tell you what's happened but you have to promise to not lose it." Paul said.
John just stared at them, not knowing what on earth they would have to tell him.
Staring at each other one last time they finally told him.
"She's left" george said.
"Who's left?" john asked.
"Cyn, she's gone john," paul answered.
"She left india this morning, george said, took her bags and just left back to england."
John didn't answer for a few seconds, "if your having me on this isnt a good joke."
George and paul stared at each other in confusion,
"It's not a joke john, paul answered. She really is gone."
"No, no i know cyn she would not just leave without at least telling me, she tells me everything." John said.
"Well she didn't tell you about this," george answered.
Paul looked at george knowing he would regret his words.
John looked back at george, "shut up george."
"Why wouldn't she bloody tell me anything john remarked clenching his fists. She can't just up and leave like that and think its ok. Im her husband for christ's sake. Fuck" john exclaimed.
Jane could no longer keep quiet.
"Really because frankly, you haven't been acting like one, and that's why she left" jane said looking at john.
Pattie looked at jane stunned.
"What" john asked.
"For pete's sake john cyn had enough you werent gonna get away with your affair any longer, you are in love with someone else, she is leaving for her own good." Jane said.
"Jane paul exclaimed, you don't know anything about their relationship."
"No but i do know cyn is hurt, and good for her for leaving." Jane remarked leaving the table.
Pattie ran after her, making sure she was ok.
As the girls left paul and george remained at the table.
"Im sorry you had to find out this way mate," paul said.
"We had no idea things were that bad between you two" george said.
"And we didn't know you were in love with someone else" paul said.
"Fuck this shit just keeps getting worse and worse" john said.
"Im sure you two can work it out" george said hoping.
"No, there isn't a bloody thing we can do anymore, im in love with yoko, its done." John said.
"But it's you and cyn john" paul said.
"Don't you two get it, There is no john and cyn anymore, my life changed ever since i met yoko. I'm not interested in being mr family man anymore. I'm not looking back only forward." John said.
George and paul looked at each other once more, and george decided to give john and paul some time alone, paul could always make john see the practical side of things.
"Ok, look john, what is it with this woman are you really in love?" .
John looked up at him, "what kind of a bloody question is that?"
"I mean what is it about her that you love? Im genuinely curious" paul said.
"Well, john responded, it everything. She is different, she doesn't care what people think about he, she encourages my music, wants me to do the things i want. And we connect not in similarities but in a sense of understanding. We just get each other paul. I've never felt anything like it." John said. Faintly smiling as his face settled.
"I thought you had that understanding with cyn?" Paul asked.
John looked at him annoyed. "Well I didn't. John remarked, cyn couldn't do a damn thing to stop what happened. We have grown apart, we want different things. She wants the family life, and i want yoko, i want excitement. I don't want a woman who cant even do a little bit of acid without getting paranoid. I want someone who understand my projects, i want yoko." John said.
Ok paul said, "so you really are in love" paul said looking at him.
"Yes i am" john responded
"And look i don't actually think cyn wanted that family life so bad, if you don't remember she gave up a lot to be with you john." Paul said.
"What are you getting at mccartney?" John asked getting angry again.
"I just think you giver her such little credit john, cyn has been the only one who has really been there for you besides us. She has loved you unconditionally for all these years, she supports everything you do, has never once tried to change you. And she still loves you john" paul said.
"She is an amazing wife, a even greater mother, she is sweet, attentive, and kind, I mean hell who wouldn't want cyn"... As paul said these words he knew he regretted them as soon as they left his mouth.
"What the hell does that mean, what are you on about?" john said even more angry than before.
"Nothing, nothing paul said sounding embarrassed he knew he shouldn't have said that. I'm just saying you are so lucky to have her john, really. She probably the greatest thing to happen to you besides music."
"And you can deny it all you want but I think you still love her too. Maybe your not in love with her the way you love yoko, but i know you love her john." Paul said
"Your mad, cyn and i are history get it through all your bloody damm minds" john remarked.
"Alright john go ahead and suppress everything like you usually do, but if i were you i would be getting on that plane and at least talking things out with my wife," paul said angrily getting up.
John couldn't believe paul, he had to insert himself in what clearly wasn't his business.
Why does everyone think I still love cyn, i dont john thought.
So why did i get so jealous with that tom bloke, that yankee cowboy, and why do i care that cyn left, i should be happy john thought.
I should be happy he kept thinking.
