Chapter 28: They say it's your Birthday

It had been a couple of days since john and cyn had finalized the divorce.

Everything seemed to be going back to normal, The boys were back from india, cyn was painting more and more everyday. And she finally felt a little better each day. She hasn't spoken to john since they finalized and she didn't intend to unless it concerned julian.

John and yoko had been in the press, he and yoko where showing there latest show featuring everything being painted white. Cyn watched on the news and read in the papers.

Julian was happy to see his daddy even if it meant on the news.

He would ask what was daddy and yoke, his name for yoko were doing.

"Showing their art" she would tell him.

Cyn had sat down with julian and told him about the divorce in a way that only a 5 year old would understand. And at first he was confused but understood, he was very mature little boy.

And john explained it to him as well over the phone.

While cyn intended not to speak to him, this weekend was julian's birthday. Cyn had decided to have a birthday party for him, he deserved it, he had been through so much this past month.

She knew she had to invite john, he was julian's father after all.

The day of the party arrived, cyn was nervous, considering john would be here and with yoko.

Maureen and her were setting up the last of the snack on the table, all of julians school friends and other rock families and their children would be here. As well as the other beatles.

"Ok you got the mac and cheese and snacks, cyn said. The streamers and gift bags are done, ok, ahh the cake did we get the cake?" Cyn asked freaking out.

"Cyn, cyn maureen said trying to calm her down, we have everything, jane brought us the cake this morning. Everything will be fine. You are just nervous."

"Nervous about what" cyn said arranging the table full of food.

"About john and yoko being here." Maureen said.

"Well he is julian's father he has to be here." Cyn said not looking at maureen.

"Cyn everything will be fine and i will be here ok if things start to get awkward." Maureen chuckled.

"Right" cyn said laughing mo could always cheer her up.

With the party in full affect, kids were running in and out of the house. Julian being the leader.

Ringo and maureen's kids were, there, Keith moon his wife kim and there daughter were also in attendance as well as julians cousins and so on.

John had not arrived, but paul , and george were there. They seemed to be huddled in conversation with ringo considering they were at a kids birthday party, and didn't really know what to do as they were not parents yet.

Cyn went around checking if everyone had everything.

"Yes it's all wonderful cynthia really, great party." Everyone said.

Seeing the kids running around she smiled at least julian was having a great birthday.

Suddenly she saw the door open, it was john and he came alone.

paul , george and ringo greeted him.

Cyn looked, and was confused why was yoko not with him.

Maureen approached her holding little jason in her arms, "Why isn't yoko with him?" She asked.

I have no idea, cyn said.
