Sitting with her lawyer in her living room, cyns legs kept shaking, she was extremely nervous.
Her lawyer noticed and chuckled, "Mrs. Lennon there is nothing to be nervous about, a divorce can be a simple process believe me."
"Hardly i dont think ive ever been more nervous in my life, have you been married?" She asked her lawyer he was a fairly young man looked rather like a recent graduate and was curious if he even knew what being in a marriage was like.
"Im actually engaged" he said.
"Oh well good luck "she said still shaking her legs nervously.
"Thank you" he said not sensing the tone of sarcasm in her voice.
"Mr. Lennon is about 15 minutes late now" her lawyer said.
"Not unusual" cyn responded he is late everywhere.
And with that john finally walked in.
"Mr Lennon" her lawyer said getting up to shake his hand.
John just patted him on the back, "hello mr attorney."
The pat on the back was a bit rougher than the young lawyer had expected making him jump a bit.
Getting over the initial shock he told john to sit down.
Cyn rolled her eyes, at john.
"Well perfect" the lawyer said, let us commence.
"Now Mr and Mrs. Lennon you are both seeking to divorce each other, now we need to figure on what grounds, and what it is exactly you both want in leaving the relationship, settlements and thing like that as well as custody of, stopping to read the file he said of your son julian."
"Look can we get over the bloody formalities" john said i just want to get this signed.
"Mr Lennon" the attorney said.
"Call me John", john said.
"Mr Lennon we need to be able to have a clear reasoning of your divorce it legally can't just be signed and done. We need grounds of why this divorce is going on." The attorney said.
"Just irreconcilable differences." John said
Ha cyn scoffed.
"Mrs Lennon do you have something you wish to say" the attorney said.
"I actually have a real reason, i want to file on grounds of adultery." Cyn said confidently.
"Of course we had to go there" john said annoyed.
"Mr Phillips cyn spoke up he has been having an affair for more than a couple of months now, and i have things like letters to prove it" Cyn said.
John began to get angry, fine he said and i can prove the same thing john said.
"What are you talking about" cyn asked.
"Don't think I didn't see you with that yankee cowboy in india, and not to mention that roberto bloke."
"You are mad cyn said. I have never once cheated on you john, not once, i loved you I would never hurt you" cyn said.
"You on the other hand cyn said scoffing, can't say the same thing for you.""Alright Mr. and Mrs. lennon we have our ground i think this is a good place to stop. I shall be back tomorrow and we can't start getting the technicalities down." Mr phillips said getting up not wanting to add more fire to the flames.
"Of course mr phillips cyn said getting up to escort him to the door, and again sorry for those photographers trying to photograph you. I didn't even know they could hide in the bushes."
"Not to worry Mrs. lennon, i shall see you both tomorrow then." Goodbye mr lennon mr phillips said.
John didn't answer him.
Mr phillips left shutting the door.
"Ok well you can let yourself out"cyn said.
"Are you sure you don't want me to stay now that lil is gone john said. I can just be with you and julian."
Cyn looked at him "no i dont think thats a good idea" she said.
"Just go and be here tomorrow on time next time" she said.
"Can i at least say goodnight to Julian?" He asked
"He is already sleeping, dont wake him up" she said.
"Ok then" john said feeling disappointed.
"Goodbye cyn" he said making his way out the door to the car.
Cyn just sighed.
Of course i want you to stay she thought, I want us to be how we were.
Cyn could not deny it even if she tried she still loved john.
