Josh put in his temporary leave from school. It was only a week, but it was something. News reporters flooded his front yard, Josh pushed past them. Questions being thrown at him repeatedly. Someone had recorded their fight in the hallway and it went viral. He ran up to his room, trying to come up with something, anything to help El. His eyes landed on his desk, a note written there. Josh recognized the hand writing immediately.
"Josh, your mother let me in. I know things between us were complicated in the end. But please, meet up with me at the old farm house. - Kennedy "
Josh took the paper and dialed her number, she picked up immediately.
"What are you doing?" She asked, Josh held the phone tightly.
"Just tell me when and where. I'll be there." He spoke through clenched teeth.
"At the old farm house; where we kissed for the first time. Meet me there in an hour." Kennedy instructed, Josh hung up the phone.
He picked up his car keys and slammed his front door shut.
Kennedy was never a good sight to see.
