Here she was again on the news. The photo of her kiss with Josh was being discussed. Her father choked on the cereal he was eating. Outraged by this she grabbed her coat. How could they do that? She thought.
Joanne yelled for her to stop, not listening she left out of the front door. That kiss was between them. How was Josh taking it? Was he running to the news station too? Where the hell was her journal?
Not having to run far the news van was on the end of her block. Outraged she banged on the door. A camera man opened the door, shoving a camera at her. She had enough of people pressing into her personal life.
"This will be the last thing you will ever hear from me so listen up. Shame on all of you for putting my private life all over the television and Internet. What I do in my free time is none of you guys' business. I hope this all comes back on you guys one day. And since I'm sure you want to know what Josh and I's relationship is let me tell you. It's nothing."
Without another word she walked off, or for better words, ran.
She ran until she was blocks away. Walking down the street she thought about where to go next. She was free. Away from everyone who pretended to give a damn. She had finally escaped from her over protective mother and her piece of shit father. But the one that brought tears of relief to her eyes was that she was away from Josh.
She could finally leave.
No one would stop her.
