Cinnyris

Stupid mate bond.

The day when Luke is supposed to come back.

I wake up streching and wriggling my body on the smooth bed. My hands reach to Venice side, but I don't feel her on the bed next to me. I quickly get up and look for her in the bathroom, but she is not there. I hustle my pants on my sickly pale skin and squeeze myself into a shirt then run barefoot to  the hallway.

"Venice!" I yell, consuming my worried breath.

Where could she be?

"Venice!" I yell even louder, shaking. What if Harry, my old beta found her and kidnapped her, what if she is hurt or even,dead. I think and panick.

'don't worry Cinnyris,she is okay. just look for her in Will's room.' Scarlett
Utters reassuringly. 'okay.' I respond as i rush into Will's room.

Will is still sleeping but I shake him up.
"Will! Will. Wake up, Venice is missing!" I shriek.

"What?" He asks in shock as I quietly sob next to him. " Its ok Cinnyris, calm down. We'll find her." He says. I nod my head as we run out of his room and head downstairs both yelling her name, pack member stare at us with shock, some even start calling Venice's name with us, but it only adds to my worries . The pack door opens and Venice shows up skipping and holding an ice cream in her hand.

Her happiness verses the frantic vibes I've spread around the house is pissing me off at the moment, but the feeling is nothing compared to the happiness of seeing her.

"Venice, where have you been?" I say as I tackle her in a hug.

"I am sorry if I scared you, but Luke took me out to buy some ice cream." She apologizes.

"Its ok honey. Why don't you go to your room now, ok?" I speak calmly. The years I spent learning how to control my temper were useful after all. "Ok" she replies waving to Luke, who waved back, giving her a breathtaking smile.

"Will, can you go upstairs with her please?" I ask. "Sure Cinnyris." He murmurs ans her runs behind Venice ,asking her to wait for him.

The pack members leave automatically, I think it's Will who asked them to, that guy is a keeper.

"Listen Cinnyris, I am so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I wanted to wake you up but-" He starts. " Enough, please. Listen I just want to finish the rejection so we'd both go on our separate ways." I speak calmly although I'm dying from the inside. "Cinnyris please don't." He whispers , looking hurt. " Don't make it harder than it already is." I plead.

sharp pain hit me in the chest and gut. I stumble weakly then whimper, is it hot in her or is it just me? Maybe it's Luke.
"Heat." Luke murmurs as he lifts me up bridal style. Oh shit, oh no, hell no. The timing is so dramatic that I start to wonder if the moon goddess is playing with us like we're action figures or something. the thought makes my sicker than I already am. But my presence between Luke's arms slightly ease the pain. Slightly.

I wrap my arms around Luke's neck and burry my head in his chest. God I'm so weak. I sigh. Luke kicks my room's door open with his leg, not wanting to let go of me . Both Will and Venice stare at us with wide eyes. "What is wrong?" Will asks. Venice walks towards me and Luke and stand up with a frown on her face.

"Did you hurt her?" She asks Luke with power in her tone. "No sweetie he didn't its just-ouch!" I shriek in pain. "Heat." both Will and Luke say in union. Will looks at me with a hint of lust in his eyes but he wipes it quickly.

I want to jump out of NY skin and burry myself six feet into the ground right now.

" I'm gonna take Venice to my room with me." He says lifting an angry Venice between his arms. "No I want to stay here with Cinnyris." She commands.

"Its ok Venice just go with Will." I say getting up and ignoring the pain. "Its not that painful anyways." I say composing my face and curving my lips into a smile. "Okay , I guess." She says looking suspicious but leaves anyways. I wave to her and Will and give them a genuine smile. They both wave back and enter Will's room.

I walk back to my bed not showing any signs of how much I'm in pain and sit calmly. But it hurts like hell, and my kneess are numb. We both stay in awkward silence until I get tired. I lay down and curl my body and try to sleep while slowly massaging my knees and shins. Luke seems to notice even though he hasn't looked at my for over ten seconds. He kept his eyes fixated on the walls, but then he took a deep breath and looked at me and my heart went into a wresting match with my ribs.
"Your knees hurt?" He asks.
" No , but they're numb, and they tingle." I state. He pulls me up and gently places me on the floor.
"Try to walk it off." He says. I hook my arm to his and lean on his shoulder. We take small walks around the room. "Better?" He asks and I nod.
He walks me back to my bed and I curl on his lap while he rests his head on the crown of the bed. He plays with my hair and my eyes get droopy. I love it when someone plays with my hair, especially if it's Luke.

"Stupid mate bond." I manage to whisper before I dose off. The last thing I hear is Luke's charming chuckle.

And this is chapter 7!!!
