Hatred and Fear

I  CANNOT BElieVe I JUST  GoT 1K vIEwS It iS imPosSiBleeeeee!!!! I probably woke up the entire city! Heh. Thank y'all so much! I know I haven't been updating as often, (heck, I used to update every day, know I do it in like, two weeks.)I'm sorry, I'm trying my best. 

Nobody's POV 

Marinette was up at the crack of dawn, even before her maids. For the first time, she did her makeup by herself and got herself ready. Her maids were surprised when they say her scampering to the Women's Room at 9.

Finesse was already there with Chloe with a bunch of things. Makeup, dresses, fabric, a sewing machine, a notepad and pen, a camera, lighting, umbrellas and more.

"What are we doing here? A photo shoot?" Marinette joked. 

Chloe smirked. "Who told you?"

"Wait...we're actually-" Marinette was cut off by Finesse who yanked her to a pile of dresses. 

"Now, which one brings out my eyes? Blood red or a more angelic blue?" She asked. 

"Hmm, a blood red. I cant imagine you with that kind of blue."Marinette answered. "What about me?"

"You seem like a calm black. Your navy hair and eyes would perfectly match with that." Finesse imagined Marinette that way. "Say, it would look even better if you had bangs. Have you ever considered getting them?"

Marinette thought for a while. "I did, but my sister Tikki used to always get annoyed with hers, so     I decided against it."

Finesse said, "I think you would look cute. I'm a pretty good hairstylist. I could cut some for you, if you'd like."

Chloe yelled from across the room,"Sure! Let her near your face with scissors Marinette!"

Everyone burst into laughter. From the corner of the room, Marinette heard a tiny chuckle from Silvia's direction.

Marinette smiled as sweetly as possible when she walked up to her. "May I brush you hair?"

Several emotion played across Silvia's face, but in the end, she said: "You may."

They sat in silence, watching Finesse and Chloe shoot their comments at each other. 

"It fills my heart with joy to see you all like this." Silvia sighed blissfully.

"Me too." Marinette agreed.

Silvia suddenly frowned. "Though, it seems one of you is missing."

Marinette's heart sank. "Lila Rossi."

"Marinette, I thought you were better than this. Whether you like it or not, Miss Rossi is once again part of the selection, and she is one of the top spots. You're going to have to cope with her, running away is not going to solve everything." Silvia lectured. 

A moment of silence followed. Silvia, regretting her outburst, said kindly, "But I guess you do have a reason to hate her for. But you have no reason to fear her."

Marinette scoffed. "I'm not scared of her."

Silvia chuckled. "Are you sure about that?" 

Marinette looked at Finesse and Chloe, who were joyfully tossing fabric at each other, which of course, fell helplessly to the ground.

Marinette smiled, and tried to act happy.

But there was one thing still nagging at her:

Was she scared of Lila Rossi?
